Called four times in ten minutes while I was on brief call on my cell. Hung up my cell call, took a quick look at number and thought it was someone I knew because I'm in 303 and it was a 303 call, and urgency of calling so many times, thought something might be wrong, so called back. Guy answers I don't recognize, kind of bad connection, and I said "Who's this?" He said - very agitated - "This is George. What the hell! We've been calling you for HOURS! Don't you ever answer your phone, or what?!" I said "What?!? Who are you? What company is this?" He says "It's WALMART! Been trying to get you because you've ... " At this point the connection went to hell briefly so I couldn't hear what he was saying. At first, it sort of sounded like they were trying to deliver something and had the wrong people/address. So I just said, "Well, this ain't them." Then I DID hear him say, "Well ,who are you?" That's when I knew the scam was on. I said "Why do you want to know? Where are you? WHICH WALMART?" He totally ignored me and started to tell me I'd won <something, couldn't make it out with the connection> and "Doesn't that sound great?" and I said
"What? I can't hear you!" And he said "Well, LISTEN!!" At that point I'd had enough, and said, "Don't ever call this number again!" and hung up, blocked the number, and came here to write this. I'm extra upset because this guy and his cronies are from our great city of Denver, so I hope he gets his butt in a sling at some point and spends some quality time in our city's fine jails.
    • Caller: He said Walmart, but you know it wasn't

I got many calls from 303-732-3813, 3814, 3840, 3841, 3842, and 3843. They claim to want to give me a refund from the Windows technical department. When I called back, it went to voicemail saying that the Magic Jack customer was not answering. Not anymore! As their passwords had never been set, I changed their outgoing message to one explaining that it's a scam, and how to remove their software. Now they're really pissed at me, but maybe it will help some people.
