A woman called our company asking for the person in charge of ordering printer supplies. Calls aren't allowed to be forwarded here when the caller doesn't give the correct name of the person they need! Too bad for her she didn't know that I'm the person who orders those things!

The company name she gave was "Reliable."

We sell wood products. I was asked for the person who purchases the ink and toner supplies. I replied that they were not available. Caller said "Were in the wood business too, cuz you don't want to be a loner with a boner when you run out of ink and toner!" I hung up. When I called back it just rings and rings!

Man calls several times, says his business is RPS and his name is Ron Burgandy. He uses foul language on the phone, is very pushy and wants our businesses' printer serial numbers. He says he already spoke to someone else who was getting hime the serial numbers but has not given them to him yet. The next time he calls, he says to our receptionist "tell her to get her a** into work." She passes the call to me and I told him not to call us anymore. He responds "Maam, sounds like ypu've got your panties in a bunch." He is a disgusting scam! Do not fall for his calls.

THEY ARE SCAM AS REPORTED HERE ON 800NOTES IN NOV 08

16 Ways you can be phone scammed. >>>>>
    https://800notes.com/articles/Article.aspx/LFRVNXyqwQBNrAjLF8wQyg

Phone Toner Scam: The scam artist poses as a warehouse representative or vendor and makes contact with a targeted company. He will say "This is (first name), I need the model number off your copier". If the person who answers gives this info, the scammers will try to set up a shipment of toner. Of course, the deal is so good that the offer is based on a limited supply or limited time, pressuring the employee to act fast and get their money's worth. Upon delivery, both the employee and the company are usually in for a big surprise. The price of the invoiced toner is 2-3 times higher than expected, and the scam artist threatens with legal fines if the company fails to pay.

Called wanting to know our ink supplier.  I told him we only work through our xerox representative.  And he said "well I just want to do a price quote" so i said "well, we just want to work with xerox, thanks anyway".  he said "so you don't want to save money?"  and I said "No, we don't like saving money" (kidding of course), and he said "Well you are [***]" and hung up on me.  WHOA - talk about taking it way too far.

A woman called from Reliable Printing Solutions and said she wanted to save me money on printer supplies. She asked for the model # of my printer. I told her, and she said that she would call back in a few days with some pricing information. A few days later, a man called back with the price and information about my specific printer. He said the cartridge from Reliable Printing would last for 1800 pages vs. 600 from the HP cartridge. The price was $33.00, and he wanted to send me two trial cartridges. I asked him if his company had a website, and he said no, they only do telephone sales. I quickly googled the company name, and found many complaints. The BBB rated them a "F" and advised not to do business with them. I told the caller this information and he seemed very surprised. He was always polite, though. I said no thanks. These people call multiple times a week. They get a customer service rep who always comes over to me. They say, "There's someone on the phone looking for the person who buys ink and toner."

I know what they're up to, so I just let it go to my voicemail. They never leave a message. Got the number this time and googled it -- after reading this site, I'm glad I've never answered!

I receive daily calls from this number and refuse to answer.  I always let it go to voicemail and they have never left a message.  They have started calling into the main office line to speak to someone but the receptionist has been instructed on how to handle these calls.

I decided to google the number last week and just what I suspected, toner scammer!

I keep getting phone calls from this phone number daily for the past 2 weeks. (thanks God, I never answer this call). Thanks for info from those who got phone calls from this phone number. I think Uncle Sam should do something to prevent those telemarketers from hiding their real identifications.
