- Jimits Regional locating services out of Denver co from what i can figure out is that they are trying to locate some one they can't find
- carla ThompsonSaid they had a legal issue being filed against person they were looking for.
- Phil B| 1 replyYep, same thing. She called on my cell phone ostensibly looking for Reuben somebody. I guess she thinks he's living in Massachusetts! I shoulda said, "Ya, I'm Reuben, wtf ya want!" Poor Reuben with his legal issues. Hey maybe he inherited some money.
- JeanCalled me today on the home phone 2:51 pm. I was not home and no message on voicemail. Their website states they collect mostly in Indiana but if you live in a state where they are not licensed to operate, they just turn it over to another agency there.I have never been to Indiana. I do not have any delinquencies. Send me a validation letter! They can't because there is no debt. So leave me alone Allied! Dirtbags.

- JeffreyI live in FL and have never ever even been in Colorado or Inidana. I do happen to have a fairly common name. But I do not have bad debts hanging around. Locating service? Do you really think we are THAT dumb, Allied? Ever heard of voicemail? Tell me who you are trying to "locate". It is a collection agency trying to pin somebody's debt on YOU. Google it. Send me a letter too, AL, I bet you don't have my address as I ain 't the guy you want. Your website says you first send a validation letter - maybe the other guy got it. Harass him, not me. Leave me alone. Go away. You can't even do competent research!

- NevinaCollection agencies are not allowed to speak with anyone but you and your attorney regarding your debt. It's not my debt and they called my ex in another state and my brother-in-law in this state. They break all the rules so why would I have any shred of respect for them? They just call everyone with the same last name as you from their horrid investigation. Stop these stupid tactics cause they won't get you anything from me. Take a hike. Long walk off a short pier. Ad infinitum.

- Valerie| 1 replyThis is an open letter to Allied Locating who called my number today and left no message referring to what it was about.
Allied: I just wanted to let you know that I am switching phone carriers and getting a new number. Good luck finding me and the 3 other people you still call this number about although I have had this number for 14 years. You are horrible and despicable. Have a nice day. - BigA replies to ValerieSince all phone numbers are basically recycled, hopefully you won't get someones old number that has even more problems. by the way, i doubt that this company comes here looking for messages written to it.
- BigAThis is a common ploy by criminals attempting to extort money from people by scaring you into believing that you will be criminally charged, go to jail, lose your driver’s license, have wages garnished, be sued, and a variety of other variations on this, all for an alleged or nonexistent debt. They also use the “process server” who calls and claims he is going to serve you, but then says you could avoid it by calling another number. Now why would a “process server” want to do you, a stranger, a favor, and at the same time not get paid to deliver the papers?
Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt. It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes. The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

He was a POS then and he's a bigger POS now. Last I heard his wife divorced him and he's in prison for the next couple of years.
I live in a different city now and have had more than a few different landline numbers since so how they got number and associated with him is beyond me.- Call type: Debt collector
