It's the Rocky Mountain News. They call at different times of the day, won't leave a message and you can't call teh number straight back. Porbably calling to inquire about your subscription.

I had the same problem. Call the following number and tell them to take you off their call list immediately :1-800-892-6397  (customer service)

I have recieved 4 calls a day from this phone number for 5 days now! It is very irritating they won't leave a message. I called the 1-800 number the person listed above, I hope they stop calling because I can't answer my cell phone at work!

I receive calls from this number at no particular time of day....and they never leave a message.  Very annoying.

All efforts to get to these creeps are futile. They are ignoring the National Do Not Call Register. Suiggest calling the Denver Post publisher and threatening them. The fine for ignoring the DNC register is 5K per call.
How many fines cxan they afford before they close this crap down?

The Do Not Call registry doesn't work for any organization with whom you have a "relationship."  Therefore, if you have, or have ever had, a subscription to this newspaper, you have a "relationship" & they can call you.  Better to call the paper directly & tell them to stop calling & take your name off their calling lists.  If that doesn't work, then take it to the boss.  If even that doesn't work, embarrass the organization by complaining to one of the local tv station's investigative reporters.

303-954-3283 Is the Rocky Mountain News.  They are calling to attempt to get you to re-new or continue your subscriptions.  They can call even if you are on the National No Call List because you have previously been or currently are a customer. You must call their customer service, speak with a representative, and request to be removed from their list (in reality put on RM News No Call List) - customer service 800-892-6397. If you are pleasant with them, they will be pleasant with you. It is another dept/group calling & not leaving a message not the cust. svc. rep you will speak with.  It took me less than one minute to be removed from their call list. Kathy G

Calls everyday - on my cell phone  - and never leaves a message

I've been getting two phone calls everyday for the past several days.  Answered one time and hung up because no one responded.  Glad to hear it's only the Rocky Mt. News.

Gotten about 10 calls from them in the past week and finally picked up today.  My subscription ended about a month ago and obviously I didn't want the paper anymore.  They have kept sending it and I didn't know exactly when it ended and didn't sign up to have the subscription continued.  They are trying to charge me $6.00 for the paper that they have kept sending even though I never signed up to continue the coverage.  It's only $6.00 but the whole concept is just rediculous.  If you don't sign up to continue a magazine subscription, they don't just keep sending it and then bill you.  Obviously they assume that you no longer want it.

Simply call the number left in several previous posts. Explain situation. Ask to not be called.

Some calls are follow ups on service. Some are trying to get you to subscribe or extend subscriptions.

In any event, work with them, politely explain your annoyance with the repeated calls and no answer, etc. AND THEY WILL STOP.

I called the 1-800 number that was provided above and they were totally fine with adding my name to the DNC list.  They just ask proof of my name, address and phone number.  Complete in about 90 seconds.

i usually don't answer if i don't know the number but i did since it was a 303 area code and when i answered they just straight hung up on me.  i just had a guy come to my door and i reluctantly signed up for a weekend subscription to the denver post, but why would they call me a week later and hang up on me.  very, very annoying.

So far I have received 6 calls from this number. This last time I asked who it was and what they wanted. They hung up right away, just as they have done every other time I have answered.

They hung up right after I answered.  Annoying!

I keep getting calls from this number, which is the Denver Newspaper Agency... I had a subscription last year, and it "supposedly" ended in February of 2009, however I continued to get it... and they just sent me a notice saying to renew my subscription!  And call me on a regular basis.  Clearly, I do not want it anymore, so quit CALLING.  I am after all, on a DO NOT CALL list.  sheesh!
