- John| 3 repliesThe CID was INOVANT but no message was left either. Makes me sceptical. They are listed on Numbertron.com with the same CID - possibly some telemarketer just getting going, or it's an old one with a new number??

- preserve replies to John| 1 replyMay actually be the company looking for a programmer - Google INOVANT, Colorado.
- Resident47| 3 repliesFemale canned voice, dreadful echo as if recorded via speakerphone, left message for my Dad. As is often the case with suspect callers, this one did not waiting for a greeting, so we have only the tail end of the pitch. Sounds like another credit card reprice scam, but don't quote me yet. Stupidly prompts for keypresses, tries to create false urgency -- the style is similar anyway. It merely displayed "Colorado" for a Caller ID tag.
As for "Inovant", two firms of that name are Visa subsidiaries, Inovant LLC and VCA Inovant Investments. The LLC in Foster City CA "owns and operates VisaNet", which "provides online payment transaction and processing services" per the Business Week directory. There is absolutely no reason for such a company to call my semi-retired father, who never held a merchant account.
John's comment suggests that a scammer has "borrowed" the name. All last year there was also a rash of fraudulent payment processor sales calls. Maybe as more reports come along we'll know what these pests want.- Call type: Telemarketer
- LM123My Mom (lives in upstate NY) received a call from this number earlier today. She said, "Hello," and there was no reply. Caller ID said Colorado.

- Resident47 replies to Resident47| 2 repliesHere's what I have for a transcript. The woman sounds entirely too bubbly and ends every other sentence in that irritating vocal inflection making it sound like a question. Those I've indicated with (--?)
"... current credit card account --? It's urgent we speak to you regarding this matter before your file is closed. Press nine now to speak with a representative --? [01 second beat, inhale] To no longer receive this offer, please press the number three button now. Thank you, and have a wonderful day." - anotherThey called my mother and left no message. I don't think they are looking for a programmer. I think they are looking for credit card numbers to rip people off. BEWARE!!!! The say they are from VISA but give no bank affiliation. BEWARE!!!

- fed up with these lowlifesYes...it is a NEW number for credit card services or one of their sister accounts.....
The recording starts: Hello, since you have been on time making payments to your credit card account, we have a great offer for you. Press nine to speak to a representative......
So, I press (9) and when they answered, i proceeded to push the phone key pad in their ear.....it took about a minute before they finally hung up. Then I blocked the number.
This is the 22nd number I have blocked so far...."on my cell phone". And, yes i have reported everyone of them and nothing is done....!!!!!!
I wish anyone who works for this/these company(s) the bad luck of pissing the bed at night until they quit their job. :)- Caller: card services

- SueHave gotten way too many calls from this number regarding a Visa credit card to lower my interest rate. I have asked to be taken off the list but it has not been done (and was hung up on). Out of frustration I have "played along" but am told I dont have enough credit card debt to qualify. If I say anything other than " I am interested" I get a hang up.
- Caller: VISA
- Call type: Telemarketer
- AnnAnother telelmarketer scammer trying to get my card info. I wouldn't give them anything. Told them I knew they weren't Visa. The 800 number they did give me was actually for Visa international, whom I did call and told them about the scammers. I gave them the number of the scammer calling me. I told Visa that a telemarketer was pretending to be Visa. They assurred me that they never make such calls or email messages like the telemarketer was leaving. They are trying to stop this fraud. I never give out my info to anyone.

- in WIcold sales call about CREDIT CARD lowering interest rate. Tried to tell telemarketer this # was on DO NOT CALL lists for State and Fed - she hung up on me. CLEARLY the DNC lists are a waste of tax money, since they are NOT ENFORCED.
- Caller: INOVANT
- Micky QuickYeah, same thing with me. This has been going on for months. Bunch of scumbags.
Don't try to engage them. Block their numbers and they have quite a few.- Caller: Inovant

- in VaReceived call from 303-967-1096 Inovant per caller ID but the message said credit card services and stated it was imperative that I speak with them - this was my last chance. I wish that were so. Dialed 9 and a man asked if I had a balance over 5,000. I said no and asked if he would take me off the list. He hung up. I am thoroughly disgusted with these calls.

- Meetoo| 1 replyLike they said above, same old crooks as "Card Services", but spoofing a real Visa number. I think I've found something that seems to give them some trouble. You might try it. The responses from the actual persons to whom I have been connected have been revealing. These crooks hire a lot of people, most of whom do not stay when they realize what is going on. From news reports, it is common for the crook bosses to tell the new hires that their pay checks for the first week or two must be held for accounting reasons, get a couple of weeks of work out of them, then disappear or just refuse to pay. When I am connected to "Angie", as soon in the conversation as possible I say "You know those people aren't going to pay you, don't you? That's why they told you that they had to hold back your first checks, and why they tell you to lie about where you actually are. They are crooks, and they are trying to use you as long as they can for nothing and before you catch on". Many times, in the middle of this, the supervising crooks terminate the conversation, if they are eavesdropping. However, I have had several dead silences, followed by "Really?" or "D-----, that explains it". I've even been thanked! You will also get the co-conspiritor "Angie" who drops all pretenses and becomes personally abusive to you, admitting that they knew what they were up to all the time. In any event, if you can run off their employees by educating them, you have done the employees, yourself, and the public a service. Try it, it feels good.
