Attempted to call back. Got a recorded message - "Can not complete call as dialed."

Got a call today from 304-205-1167. Charleston, W.Va.  I called back and got a recording. You have reached a  number that is no longer in service. Please check the number and try again. That was less than 30 seconds after they called me.

Calls from 304-205-1167, sometimes 3 a day.  They don't leave a message and when I pick up, it sounds like a dead line.  My phone company said keep a record of the calls and report the "name of the company."  There is no company.  They were at a loss for what to do.  Anyone have a solution?

They called twice today, no msg. When I called back got same recording the others did. Happy Holidays

Just got a call from 304-205-1167. They wanted to sell me Playboy Magazine for a 2 year subscription at only $49.00. I said no thank you, please take my name off your list. Jeez

Got a call from 304-205-1167 Tried to sell me a subscription to Midwest Magazine. Told them I had just renewed this past June and they hung up !!!!

I have had daily - hourly calls from 304-205-1167 from charleston WV. I refuse to pick up!

Five calls in one day is what I call overkill.

They called 5 times no message on machine, dead line if picked up. Scammers I'm thinking.

On numerous occasions we have received calls from 1-304-426-3209.  It requests you to dial 1 and then we get a bussy signal.  WHAT EVER HAPPENEDTO THE DO NOT CALL LIST.?  So annoying and you can't call back.  Can't look up the name of the business either.
Would just love to reach through the phone and strangle someone.

Call blocker is your best bet.  Don't pick up on the number.

Called three times, in 3 days:  12/16/14,12/15/14 and 12/14/14 at 9:24AM, 10:35AM and 7:15PM, edt, respectively.  No call since.  CID was simply Out of Area.  I did not answer and no message was left, any of the times they called.  I'm sure I avoided a scammer, as I'm on the DNC list.

Five hang-up calls since January 1 -- and four of them came in today.  Harassment, pure and simple.  Sometimes I wish I could just reach through the phone and strangle these crooks!

Thomas, the do not call list works for legitimate businesses. These people calling you are phone spammers who will try to cheat you out of $$$. Don't call them back; don't answer if they call again; get a call blocker. You'll live much more peacefully!

Not so simple and definitely NOT pure. They are spammers trying to get at your $$$. Don't answer if they call again, and get a call blocker for the number. By calling them back you validate your phone number, which will then be passed on to other scammers.
