I just got a call from this unknown number in West Virginia. I don't know anybody in that state, so I did not answer it and did a web search for the number. Other websites have this listed as a spammer for cardholder services, so don't answer it.

I saw it as A missed call. I would not have answered anyway. I will block thank you.

WARNING--BEWARE!! These callers are   B I G   credit card criminals, known as the card service scammers! Under NO circumstances, give these lowlifes your credit card number, or you will regret it forever!

Received a call from Cardholder Services this afternoon.  Another scam telemarketer.

I get calls from these people almost two times a week. I knew they were spammers from "Cardholder Services." I answered the call, followed the prompt and pressed 1 to tell them to remove me from their list. Usually when I do this someone just hangs up on me. This time, however, the man said "Shut up B*tch!" Please, these people MUST be stopped.

Keep getting call from this number.
How can I block this number?

I got 3 calls from this number in a matter of minutes I picked up the third thinking "If someone is trying to get a hold of me this bad maybe its actually an emergency" line was dead. Called the number back really pissed off and got a click then a recording that sounded like some scum bag held the phone up to a speaker with a recorded message. I blocked the number from my phone.

I got a call from 304 263 5785. Familiar female voice can on, usually she says "this is Rachel from Cardmember Services". This time I didn't catch the name, but even though I usually hang up on these calls, I decided to "press 1" to ask them to take my # off their list. Guy came on the line. Said he's in Atlanta Georgia, even though it sounded like he's in some call center in India. Starts telling me he's going to lower my rate on credit card bills, that they have license to distribute Visa and Master card for all the major banks, and other nonsense. I ask him "how are you going to lower my rate?" He starts reading some script. I ask him for a phone # and he gives me 800 945 3739. I say, can you take my # off your list. He says to me: "NO [***], NO!"

I was pretty shocked, and said, that's great, you are on a recorded line, keep talking. He responds, "TAKE THE RECORDING AND SHOVE IT UP YOUR ASS YOU SON OF A [***]!" Then the guy hung up.

I must say, I have never experienced something like this.

Wanted to lower my credit card interest.  Some reason he hung up on me.  He will call back probable.

Called and I didn't pick up.  No message.  I checked the number since I am in Texas and don't know anyone from this area code.   Found these posts when I checked.

They seem to be scammers and not confidence men due to the way they reacted. Our government needs to do something about these low life persons.

They just called me. I didn't answer call and they did not leave a message. I then.  I too found these posts when I checked number.

Register on your state do not call list and with the fcc.

Does not help with these crooks to register on the DNC list.

I have tri ed different services like no more Robo for my landline but they don't seem very effective. But on my android phone I have an free app called true dialer. It's actually pretty cool and uses a crowdsourcing methodology to help combat Scam phone calls. for instance, based on the response from users it will tag a phone call as a Telemarketer, and rather than ringing your phone it sends a notification to your tray saying something along the lines of 379 people marK this phone number as spam, so we blocked it for you(you also have the option to accept it and unblock it). Also when you get a phone call that does make it through and you realize it is a spam number you can block and mark it as spam so that everyone else on the network is aware.

I answered  this call by mistake today knowing it was going to be the call to lower my interest rate. So I decided to play with them I pressed 1 when someone answered I told her I didn't need their services as I just robbed the bank and don't have credit card debit, of course they hung up on me. It was fun to do and hopefully they won't call back
