have no idea who this is that called from this number

I wonder if this is part of the Telemarketer Scheme. I understand that they can get our phone numbers and call our cells.

Why does this number keep calling me? I never answer, but they keep calling....

Isn't that crap annoying or what? I'll bet since the first place, other places have popped up. It has only gotten worse. :(

recording states they are trying to renew warrenty coverage for a vehicle. when I stayed on the line someone did eventually pickup but only laughed and breathed heavily into the phone piece, another conversation could be heard in the background.

I've been getting calls regarding my vehicle's warranty about to expire, and at least one of the calls was from this number (most have been coming through my work line w/ no caller ID).  I've asked REPEATEDLY to be removed from their list (my car is more than 10 years old, but I bought it last year), and they call me at least once a day on either my cell or home phone.
When I press 1? I think it is, to talk to someone, I've gotten different names of the company they work for.  Once, when I asked "May I ask the name of the company you work for?", I heard (faintly) "No you may not" and was immediately disconnected.  Most of the times when I try to talk to someone, I get hung up on.

Same Car Warranty scam as received every week or two for the past 3 months
using various spoof phone numbers  Calling me on a cell phone.  They want $300 per year for 5 years for a worthless warranty.

How comes it that the phone companies can't stop this?

Tell them you have a 2005 Honda with 27000 miles.  They will talk to you.  But give them any personal information and you will be sorry.

I keep getting calls from this number. When I call back the number is reported as disconnected. Can somebody STOP THIS?

I get calls on my cell phone about every other day from various numbers.  Only 3 people know my cell phone number so I know when it is one of these scams calling.  I have never had a warranty on my car so it is difficult for it to run out.  I am just curious how they got my number in the first place.

Got a call....again....same company calling for all different numbers.
Here's how the conversation went:
Can I have the name of your company? No
Can I have the address of your company? No
Can I have the PO box of your company? No
Can I have the tax ID number of your company? No

Thank you very much, please remove me from your list.  I keep hitting the remove button and you keep calling my cell phone.  So IF I ever find out who you are, I'm comin' for ya! Oh yeah, and I'm gonna send you a bill too for minutes used, and contact the attorney general.

I'm sorry you're too dang hillbilly to get a job at McDonalds, or even Goodwill. But quit callin' my house, or I'm sendin' the Goddi's after you!

I just got a call from that number about my warranty about to expire.  I actually HAVE a vehicle that's about out of factory warranty so I pressed the number (1) as prompted.  It rang and rang until somebody finally answered "Warranty Division."  I said "what's this about a warranty."  The [***] hung up on me.  [***]!
