I have recieved a call from this number on more than once. One time I answered it, I could hear noise in the background but no one responded.  The other times when I did not answer and tried to call the number back a recorded message played saying "Welcome to US Cellular, the number you have reached is no longer in service". I made the return call immediately after recieving it so I don't understand how it could no longer be in service.

I received a call from this number and was too late to answer. When I called back there was the same recorded message as the previous commenter, "Welcome to US Cellular..."

I'm wondering if these call might be through skype. I have gotten a call too, picked up with no answer, but was expecting a call from europe through skype. I know they use numbers from call centers all over, so i never know what # will show up on my cell when it's a skype call.

Yea this number has been callin me for the past 2 days n i tried callin back n it said the same thing you guys said how its not in service.

yea this number just called me about 30 min. ago n this isn't the first time but this time i answered but it just hung right up n then i called back n it said the number was no longer in service...i wonder who this could be n y they call n hang up

I called this number back after they called me twice in one day and it said that it belonged to US Cellular but was no longer in service. And I called this number 10 seconds after they called me be. I called US Cellular and they said they couldn't give me anything but "it doesn't make sense" so they weren't much help. I'm just going to ignore it unless I can answer as soon as it calls back, but I was in class both times the number called :(

just like the rest of you . This number calls did not pick up. Called back it was US celluar.  Hung up. reporting elsewhere.

Is a sweepstakes scam. They are saying that you have won a prize and are asking for your name and whether or not you currently have a credit card........ Told Him to F.O. and hung up............... Be careful!!!!!!

I have gotten three calls from them today. It's pissing me OFF. I call back within mere seconds and it's just US Cellular. I'm glad I'm not the only one...

Same here. Called once this morning when I was in class and once tonight when I was out. Tried to call back and got the US cellular message. They seem to be moving rapidly through some list of numbers but I have no idea how they got mine. Weird.

They call me obsessively all day, and when I answer they just hang up right away. I just googled the number, I know it's from west virginia-i looked up the area code-and it brought me to this website. so it's kind of reassuring to know that its a prank but I'd be careful about answering to this number cause it could be a scam to get your number and use it, and it'll still charge you...

i answered and was confused, but they asked a couple questions that made no sence to me...im to young to have a credit card so why'd they call?

At first I was on the phone with my boyfriend when the number called me. I had to tell him to hang on a second and then tried to click over and when I did no one was there and then they hung up so I clicked back over to my boyfriend. When I was done talking to him I attempted to call the number back but the recorded US Cingular message was played and I freaked out and hung up the phone.

They've called twice today and each time no one was there but I'd call back and the message was played. It really scared me and my friends.

Some of you guys mentioned something about Skype which makes me wonder was my boyfriend playing a joke on me ... then again he WAS on the phone with me the first time ...

maybe its linked to some of those weird survey things and free gift card offers ... i fill them out sometimes because i'll admit ima sucker for them but never EVER go thru any of them

I have had a similar call. It also scared me. They have been calling for the past couple of days, and I am ready for this nonsense to stop!

My husband has gotten 4 calls from this number since yesterday. He had tried calling them back and it also said the same thing about US cellular..blah blah...this number is no longer in service. It's so weird that they can call you, and you call the number back within seconds and it says that the number is out of service...

same deal here...hopefully they quit- doesn't seem to be a way to unsubscribe.  the only thing new that i gave a cell # to was a stupid IQ test i did on facebook- but i sent a text back asap to unsubscribe.  i think it was through ringza.com?
