- Perj| 3 repliesis it a real number?
- Simpson_in_MD replies to Perj| 1 replyCalls are recieved every day from (305)000-0104 which is actually (301)882-9976. Bracken Mann and Wolpoff & Abramson are collection agencies, using the (301)882-9976 telephone number. The calls are often masked or hidden behind the (305)000-0104 number.
- PrivateGuyA number on the caller ID indicates a call has been received, but no voice message has been left. When a return call to the number is place, I'm told it doesn't exist.
The number, as shown on the caller id is: 1-305-000-0 104 (aka 1-305-000-0104) with the caller identified as "Unknown."
A Google search on 1-305-000-0104 brought me to www.800notes.com.
This number doesn't match to anyone or any business with which I have ever knowingly communicated in the past. Unfortunately, I can only guess this is the beginning of a series of harrassing calls. Anyone know anything about this number and how to get rid of the people behind it?
Thanks.- Caller: unknown to me.
- DaveI have recieved two calls from 305-000-0104 today alone (and 1 again on sunday) If I answer, I get greeted with a dead line (not even a marketing message, go figure). If I let 4 rings go and my answering machine pick up, I get some recording telling me that I can get a better interest rate on my credit card if I press 1 now. This could be a scam, but regardless if they gave contact information, I would report them to the FCC since I am on the do-not-call list.

Jul 19, 2008 02:31 PM 3050000104 00:01:00 - michaelGot call today, and answered. The recorded voice pitched that I was going to lose my auto insurance, and that I should act today to renew. -- none of which was true.
- Call type: Telemarketer
- JCReceived a call from 305-000-0104 at work - there was a recorded message that my auto warranty was about to expire and to renew it press 1 to call them back. I dont have any expiring warranty on my vehicle. Pressed 1 and the call disconnected. If they are telemarkets, they are not very good.
- Caller: not stated
- Lost-N-The-Sauce replies to Simpson_in_MDWell the "Rocket Scientist" at Bracken Mann and Wolpoff & Abramson is lost-n-the-sauce too! How are you supposed to contact the "Rocket Scientist" if they give you a "Bogus" number? I give up, they are too smart for a piece of dirt like me, they win!!!
- BZ replies to PerjThe message I got when I picked up the phone was telling me it was a very important message about my auto warranty and that they have been tring to reach me for some time and this was my last chance. I pressed 1 to talk to an agent who asked me questions about what make, model, and year was my car. I turned the table and asked her if she was so smart and they were trying to reach me all these times about my auto warranty she should know what I was driving and wanted to know what they were selling. She promptly hung up the phone. I believe it to be a scam.
- GDGot a call from 305-000-0104 about a warranty for automobile. When I told them that the number they are calling is a business, but promptly hanged up. Very rude.
- Caller: Some Car Warranty place
- Call type: Event reminder
- PaulieCall was forwarded from home phone to cellphone number. No caller ID. When I answered I got beeps like a fax was coming through. As the weeks go by I get more and more annoying calls. Many of them are collection agencies trying to track down the scumbag that had my number 5 years ago and apparently still using it when she's scamming people. Her name is Diane Jenkins and apparently still in my area. This was a new number for me when I moved into a new home. Eventually an agency will do some skiptracing (you'd think with the internet they would know the number is not hears), then a new one will start up again. Doesn't anyone run a credit check anymore? They always use her name so she is not using aliases.
- Caller: dont know
- pjI got a call from that number but it did not show on my caller id but did show up on my call log.But it was my boyfriend from India calling so it could be a number used by Indian people. They do have american area codes that they do use.
- imdoMight be a VoIP end-line. I just got a call from Angie's List, of which I was a member, asking for feedback.
- Caller: Angie's List
- dibidahthis was a call from solomon and solomon collection agency
- Caller: Solomon and Solomon Collection Agency
- Call type: Debt collector
- dimidahThis is a call from Solomon & Solomon Collection Agency. They never leave a message. This should be against the law because they are in effect spoofing the caller ID and the call received records by displaying a phone number that does not exist. Obviously there is no 000 exchange anywhere in the United States.
- Caller: Solomon & Solomon Collection Agency
- Call type: Debt collector
- Spoof HunterReceived calls today from 305-000-0104, both hangups. Probably a telelmarketer or bill collector spoofing the real number so the caller ID shows 305-000-0104. This is ILLEGAL activity. Call the authorities immediately. The telephone company will be able to tell the authorities the actual number where the call originated. Spoof cards are available for sale on the internet, but are illegal. Also I suggest you call your local telephone company.
- WalnutsCalls from 305-000-0104 are spoofed collection calls. They lead you to believe they are calling about an automobile warranty or auto insurance. Misleading information is illegal. Others say the actual company calling is Solomon & Solomon Collection Agency (see previous). They call everyday and multiples times.
- Call type: Debt collector
- NI also received a call from them, wanting me to write a check.
- Call type: Unwanted
- Tired of B.S. callsI received a call from this number on 1/3/09 at 2:12 eastern time. The machine tells me that my auto warranty will expire. I've gotten this call before and it appears to be a scam, since they couldn't tell my what car it was that is under warranty. Odd since they're calling me. Shouldn't they have that information to begin with?
- Caller: never got it
- Call type: Telemarketer
- annoyed.Called once, left no msg.
