Called back -unable to connect. I am registered on the DNC list

I just got a call from this number to lower my interest rate to 6% I pressed 9 to speak to someone, it rang a long time and finally a person answered and told him I wanted my name off of the list, he hung up on me.
Does anyone know what credit card company, so I can report them

Got call for about the 5th time in last month. Tried to get removed through their prompts prior to this, did not work. Today I Pressed 9 and again asked to be removed, previously they hang up.  This time got into a cussing match with two of the punks that were calling. Recorded part of it.  Am going to try and get Sec of State to investigate their tactics.  Worthless telemarkets that should be executed for their crimes....

Got call from that number today. I found that they were calling somewhere out of the Miami-Dade area. They hung up when I asked what he was calling for. His name is Danny.

solicitation: press 9 to connect to have your credit card rates lowered. I pressed 9, was very cordial, but when I said I didn't want to lower my rates, but that I'd like to be removed from the call list, "kate" hung up on me.

I also received a call from Credit Card Services. I used to receive calls from this company months again under a different phone number. PLEASE BEWARE I THINK THEY ARE THEFTS because there is no way they are making money with this kind of service. They just want your information, this is no company.

These pains in the a** call me at least twice a day and NEVER leave a message.  Sounds like we're all in the same boat.

These folks have been calling our house for a month or so.  We don't even have credit card debt.  We don't even have credit cards.  How did they get our number, and why are they calling?  The young lady I spoke with when I pressed 9 was not very nice.  She said she didn't care if I wanted my name removed.

I needed to have at least $4000.00 in credit card debt at a rate more than 10%. They say they are from Credit Card Services, and actually gave me some info. about one of my accounts. I called that credit card account and I was told nobody from that business has contacted me about lower rate info. They also said I could pay off my car loan w/low rate. Do not give them any personal information!

Did not pick up as i usually do not. However i will the next time i get this call and surly [***] with these people. I received this call on the 8th of june '09. Today (6-9-09)i got a call from 305-000-2463. Not registered on this site yet but i will be doing that now

No legitimate company would allow their employees to behave this way.  This tells you that they are running a scam.  If you get involved with these people you will regret it!

I think they are either dialing at random or they just call every number in order.  That's why they hang up when you ask to be removed from the list.  THERE IS NO LIST!  THEY CAN'T REMOVE YOU ANYWAY.  Once you ask to be removed they know you're just wasting their time so they hang up.  The ones that argue with people are just doing it for kicks.  They just call everyone, even disconnected phone numbers.   They don't know (or care) if you have a credit card.  They are after your personal information.  Don't give it to them.  These are not good people!  Avoid them.

I had the following number appear on my caller ID 305-000-2656.  No message was left.

I am registered with Do Not Call, when it first came out and then just to play it safe registered again. I am still receiving telemarker calls.

Can't some one do something about these anoying calls.

got the call from 305-000-2656 . Hit number 9 option and the guy hung up on me when i asked to many legitamate questions. they are phishing for your credit card information. Its a scam. Probably sittting in a little rented out room that they just unplug and move to another place. I got 6 of these calls in the last three weeks. They must be gettting numbers from some kind of info on credit card companies or something. I know others that are in credit card debt like myself and get the same calls. Beware...... DONT GIVE OUT YOUR CREDIT CARD INFO OR ANY OTHER INFO FOR THAT MATTER...

They also use the # 305-000-5532, don't talk to them at all.

Just received call from 305-000-2656 recorded message said they were giving me last chance to lower interest rate of credit card.  I know this is a scam but pressed 9 anyway just to see what info they wanted from me but it just rang so I hung up.  I don't know what else to do other than just don't answer when I see this strange number on caller I.D.
Just as a reminder, credit card companies do not call you on the phone to discuss your account unless you are late on a payment (smile).

Received calls from this 305-000-2656 and 864-711-4179.  They wanted to lower my credit card interest rate based on a presidential order.
