305 000 4796 Called me and asked if I wanted to lower my credit card interest to 6 %. She asked me if I had over $5,000 in debt. I said no. So she HUNG UP on me. Without a thank you or good bye.

Automated, unsolicited call from 000 exchange.

how do you get a phone # that is 000?

This is an Identity Theft phishing scam - they tell you it is for an Credit Card Offer, once they get your Credit Card number they charge thousands of dollars on it. They did NOT "GET YOUR NUMBER FROM SOMEWHERE".  It uses a sequential number Auto-dialing computer (Calls EVERY phone number by adding 1 to the previous phone number) and is run by criminals.... they could care less about the Do-Not-Call list.  The phone number seen on Caller ID is "spoofed", which means it is not the number from which the call was placed - they just pick some random number to use when the computer dials the calls.   In all probability, the calls are coming from Russia,  Nigeria or another one of the countries that are known for email scams - IT IS THE SAME PEOPLE that send out Email phishing scams!  The worst thing you can do is answer, that validates your phone number as a "real" phone number.  It is then added to a list that they originator uses REPEATEDLY to call you... and then it is put on a list that is sold to other scammers (criminals, really) at a premium price, because it is then on a list of valid cell phone numbers!

Several calls, offering lower credit card interest rates to 6.9%.

Lists "out of area" on caller ID. No message on answering machine.  Hung up.

Claim they can reduce rate on credit card. Ask about credit card debt. Refused to give name of company. I said we have caller IS. She said, "We wouldn't call if it was illegal," then slammed down the phone. I've received a number of calls from this number.

Come on you stupid scammers, you got to come up with a better phone number than this.

Received calls on my cell phone from this number (multiple times within a few hours).  Answered phone on third call and received prerecorded message about my credit cards and lowering my interest rate.  I thought prerecorded messages were illegal now??

Telemarketer! My computer answering hung up on the caller and permantly removed the Telephone number in sequence so I wont be getting anymore call from

Received this call a few minutes ago.  Didn't answer.  Funny that it is for lowering credit card rates as I do not have any credit cards.  Cash and cash only.

Called and answered, listened to the automated message and pressed 9 since I wanted to be removed, was on hold, told I was 4th in line and wait time would be a minute. Then I was told I was the only one in the conference and then after a few seconds, I was booted from the conference and call disconnected. Stop calling me!!!! (Also came from a 407 area code a few times too with the second set of numbers being 000 and another automated message.)

have gotten several voicemails on my home phone.  They never say which credit card.  I answered this time and pushed 9.  Got a lady who said something like - you just pushed 9 to lower your interest rate.  When I asked which credit card company she was with, she hung up.

they call none stop if I answer is there an option to be removed?  if it's a recording they are required to have the option, I want to report it so they stop calling me!!!
