- Garry Martin| 1 replyPlease stop 305-224-1023 from calling people. They woke me up from my nap and all my friends know not to call me a that
hour. Stop them from calling anyone who has not been the one who has contacted them for them to return a call or even call in the first place. They have made 5 calls.- Caller: Garry Maartin
- Call type: Telemarketer
- DeeWho belongs to this number? They hung up before our answering machine came on.
- CeeThis number called us at 4:45 central time 2/11/2014. A person with an extremely heavy (Indian?) accent told me that my computer had sent out error messages and that he would walk me through how to see the messages and how to stop the errors from happening. I asked where he was calling from. He said New York. 305 is a Florida area code. I asked what company he was calling from. He said Q Tech (some variation of that name). I kept repeating that I could not understand him and asked him to speak up. He eventually disconnected. When I attempted call back via caller ID, it said "I'm sorry, we cannot connect your call at this time. Two hundred thirty one."
- Caller: Q Tech?
- Vikki| 1 replyReceived a call from 305 224 1023 very strong spoken Indian or other foreign man, trying to tell me my internet connection has problems, I hung up on him. He called back trying again when I asked where he was from he said New York. I hung up on him again, he called me back another 3 times as I stated to him I was on the no call list this seemed to mean NOTHING TO HIM. I hung up one last time asking again where he was from and what his name was, he refused to tell me this information stating he told me it in a prior call... I again proceeded to tell him I was on the no call list and will be reporting his call. He more or less laughed and I then hung up. How can we stop this??????????
- Caller: Homestead
- StuMy experience was the same on 2/12/14. Caller with a heavy Indian accent insisted on talking to the person at my location with the windows computer. When I told him several times that I could not understand him he got irritated. I hung up, called back and was told that the call could not be connected. I think this is a phishing effort.
- ChrisI experienced the same within the last 10 minutes. HANG UP THE PHONE IF THIS HAPPENS TO YOU. Caller with a heavy Indian accent talked to me about errors on my computer. I was interested in what he had to say but when he told me to type in a website with .US as the ending website portal, I told him kindly I would think about it and hung up on him. Don't answer.
- Caller: IFIX?
- John replies to Garry MartinIt is wise to block, or not answer ALL unknown calls from the 305 area code-- the code of scammers!
- Thomas SchelbleTold us our computer had error messages and wanted us to correct them. Had a very heavy Indian accent. Would not identify himself.
- Caller: not sure
- Anna VSame story as everyone else here - man with a very strong Indian accent told me one of my computers was sending error messages out to the internet. I asked him how he knew it was my computer and said it sounded like a scam. I hung up and he called me back again. I did not answer. This seems very wrong and should be stopped so he cannot take advantage of someone who is intimidated by what he says.
- Todd zI got the same call today and I just hung up. Tryed to call it back number would not work!!
- NoneSame as the others. They called and said they had error reports coming from the computer. "Qtech solutions" or something was the business name.
FYI, for those reading this that might not be technically savvy, there's NO WAY for someone that you don't know to get an "error report" from your computer. Even when an application crashes on Windows and says "Send Error Report", it's not tied to your phone number.- Caller: Qtech solutions
- Lisa MSame information as above. Caller became quite agitated when he could not convince me to do as he asked, which was to log onto my computer and let him fix the errors!!
- Caller: QTech Solutions
- DALA/SussexForged caller ID, so don't bother calling it back. You'll notice the person on the other end always has an Indian (Eastern) accent.
Obviously fake technical support company trying to get you to install software so they can take over your computer. If you have the option, just block the number.
Rather quick way to get them to terminate the call is 1) tell them you have a lot of computers and ask "Which one?", 2) ask them "What is the IP address?" - they'll never be able to tell you. Had them hang up after both those questions.- Call type: Telemarketer
- clmySame info as stated above. Could barely hear him, told him to speak up. Asked why he was calling and he gave the error message line. I said what would you like me to do. He started to tell me but I interrupted him as I knew it was a scam and said 'good luck with that' and hung up. Some people really need a life.
- Nancy. replies to VikkiI also rec. a call from 305-2241023 strong Indian accent , telling me something is the matter with my computer, I just hung up..
He has called before, they want to sell software perhaps?? - EightThis guy is calling saying he is from Qtech, he was saying I had a computer error. HE IS A SCAMMER, HE COULD NOT TELL ME THE CORRECT IP ADDRESS FOR MY COMPUTER. I imagine he is trying to gain access to computers, just hang up on this guy your IP address is not 192.168.13 it's much longer, and in fact if you google "my ip address" it should pop up, or you can find a site that will provide you safely with your address. Your ip address is like your street address on the internet. This guy can't tell you your address because he is a scammer. I am not sure what exactly he is up to, because I didn't have time to play stupid person and find out, but he is most likely trying to gain access to your computer, and any sensitive information on it. You also have another address called a mac address that is the actual address of your computer, phone, tablet, or other device, so if he was the real deal he should have been able to give you your IP and MAC address, but he is a faker scammer.
- Caller: Qtech
- Tonycalled with scamming.... Then he tried to be sarcastic.... it is hard to be sarcastic if American English is not your first language... Gave me a good laugh

Which they use. she sat down by her computer and turned it on as she was talking to the guy and all of a sudden her screens started moving along with the mouse icon. he had control of her computer through the land line! she pulled the plug from the wall to disconnect the internet! beware!!!!
