I've been getting emails from  a John Smith saying he can be reached at this number....talking about a payday loan. i just got an email with an attachment that appears to be an arrest warrant....Who sends arrest warrents via email?

Total scam.

I received an email from a John Smith saying he can be reached at the same number.talking about a payday loan from cash Advance and they have been trying to call me.  So they will call it a refusal to pay.  If I call the number I can make payments, but they mush here from me by today.  Gave a total of $740.

I recieved the same email Monica, I am sure yours is also full of gramatical and spelling errors.  I contacted my local branch of the FBI and forwarded the email to someone there, it is a scam

So, I received an email from Johns Smith today and then not even 30 minutes later received an identical email from Alex Watson with Morgan & Associate's.  They were the exact emails word for word and both with gmail accounts.  I wonder if they realize that most business have a specific email domain.  I am so tired of these over sea scams.  We all work hard for what we have and don't need these idiots trying to con us out of our hard earned money.  

Just received an email from John Smith claims to represent about 1000 payday loan companies and the same amount of 740 dollars, as for the arrest warrant mention by Von no legal documents are downloaded to you or anyone or any agency they are still handled via registered mail. So conclusion:total scam

My wife received an email from "John Smith" saying she owed $740.00 to Cash Advance Inc. Company and was sent a warning notification about legal proceedings on March 8, 2014. If she didn't respond within 24 hours she would have her wages garnished and would have to pay a $6300.00 law suit.
The local county sheriff department would be contacted and she would be served a court summons.
The phone number is the same one here.
I'd love to be there when the "local county sheriff department" shows up on his door step.

Do not give Any money to these people it's a scam they want you to give credit card info so they can scan you and all you money

My wife received this an e-mail from Alex Watson with Morgan and associates, American Cash Loans. It said she owed 740.00,and had 24 he's to respond,or else face a 6300 dollar lawsuit. I called the local F.B.I. . Total scam.Here is a website to file a complaint.....www.IC3.gov

just got the identical email same amount of money etc and no legal documents are downloaded they are handled by us mail this one is going straight to the attorney general and maybe the fbi

I got the same ridiculous e-mail on 11/5/2014.  Sent to an email I never monitor.  Just happened to think about checking it.
Gotta love the cartoon "State Attorney" seal they used on the "arrest warrant".  These people never cease to amaze me.

I went on the website for Miami, Florida United States District Court, and this is what it says:

You’ve received a warrant by fax or email saying a federal law enforcement officer or an attorney for the government wants to arrest you. Charges may be for money laundering or bank fraud, or missed jury duty. To avoid arrest, the warrant says, send money.

It’s a scam.

The warrants may display a bogus logo of an unspecified “United States District Court,” a case number, and various charges. Typically, recipients are instructed to call a number to get a “settlement” or to wire money to avoid arrest.

The warrant is phony. A valid warrant would not be served by fax or e-mail. It would be served in person by a U.S. Marshal or other law enforcement officer.

Anyone receiving a fake arrest warrant should contact the FBI or the district U.S. Marshals Office. If there is any question regarding the authenticity of a warrant, contact your district clerk of court.

The fake arrest warrants have been reported across the country, including in the District Courts for the Southern District of Ohio, Southern District of Illinois, New Mexico, Western District of Kentucky, Utah, the District of Columbia, and throughout Florida. Anyone demanding or obtaining money or anything of value while impersonating an officer or employee of the United States may be fined and/or imprisoned up to three years.

I just got an email this morning from a john smith, state attorney from Florida. I called the 305-280-5852 it's a magic jack number that hasn't been assigned to anyone.

I reviewed an message on my in box from advanced cash saying I owe over 1900 dollars and the were trying to reach me it said if you don't pay up they said there was an arrest warrant already made for February 2016 it had a seal on it says untied states district court on and the seal was green and yellow knowing it was sent by email from John Smith and advance cash was from email and was both Gmail account I kinda new it was a scam because John Smith sounds like a fake name right off the bat and a real collection agency would not tell you that you would have an Warrent for your arest ether
