I'm having the same problem with this fax machine, and I, too, have tried to call the 786-552-1900 and cannot get through. The company is Venali, who has been notified of the problem in the past. The fax machine seems to have been calling people for years. If you google the fax # 305-356-2997, there will be various results from different web sites like this one (www.whocalled.us & www.whocallsme.com, just to name a few). There doesn't seem to be an end to this. Anyway, the phone # for Venali doesn't seem to work right now, but I found an email address:  salescontactweb@venali.com or their web site: www.venali.com.
It's worth a try.

SSDD-Called 786-552-1900 and told them which number was being called and to remove it from the calling list. Calls stopped.

Good luck if you have this problem. It is annoying and AT&T will not do anything about it.

Fax Calls received Monday 3 September at 3:47 a.m.3:49 a.m.3:51 a.m.
We receive these calls every month they wake us at 1:00 a.m. until 6:00 a.m. usually.  I am tired of this and have reported this number in the past to the unwanted calls.  Nothing is being done.  This is disturbing our children's sleep.  This is illegal!!!!!!!!!

This company has been faxing my home phone in the same manner, first showing the number 305-356-2997 and then private calls from then out.  I took the number above, 786-552-1900, and played the touchtone game, once you get into the customer support prompt, just hit zero, tell the operator the problem and they will transfer you to a live person who takes your number off the list.  (So they said)  I spoke with a lady named Fadoua and she said it should stop in a few minutes.  We will see!

Received multiple calls from a fax machine.  I transferred the next call to my fax machine and received a 2 page fax from DHL looking for shipping information to complete a transaction.  The calling fax number is different than the number on the fax, so I assume DHL has hired a company to send out faxes for them.  The call was legit, but I don't know why they were attempting to reach my phone versus fax machine.

I THINK THIS CALL IS FROM A FAX THAT GEICO USES BECAUSE THEY FAXED ME SOME PAPERS.AND IT WAS THE SAME TIME AS THE NUMBER ON MY PHONE.

I received 5-6 calls for this number.  Based on the feedback from other people I called Venali and spoke to Albert in Customer Support.  He was very nice and researched my situation.  He explained that a person with questionable identification created an account last night.  They checked out the new account and cancelled it right away since it didn't add up.  He told me that I shouldn't;t receive anymore faxes.  I'll let you know if it happens again.

I called Venali's customer support center (17865521900). They were very pleasnt. They apologized and said they would contact that customer and ask them to update their records and take me off. We'll see if it works. If we all start harrassing Venali maybe they will make it stop.

Recieved several call every day in the late afternoon. Opened a ticket with support@venali.com and after 7 days they did stop.

I receive 50 calls everyday. It's very annoying.

3.    An unknown company or malevolent party is using our caller id number: 305.356.2997, which will be displayed on the recipient’s phone to mask their number, as the number could have been programmed into their fax machine.

    Moreover, Venali understands the annoyance of these unsolicited calls to voice lines; for this reason, we have been working on implementing preventative measures. In fact, if you are not expecting to receive a fax or are receiving fax tones to a voice line and believe the number to be a Venali customer fax number, please report this to Our Venali Customer Support Team by sending an email to support@venali.com, with subject: Annoyance Calls. Our Customer Support Team will immediately investigate and identify the customer associated with the fax number and take appropriate action. If it was determined that it was a legitimate fax, but sent to an incorrect fax number, Venali will contact the customer advising them to discontinue faxing to the incorrect number and to contact the intended recipient.

    Furthermore, in the case that a valid customer is inadvertently calling a voice line, our policy is that we give the customer a 24 – 48 hour grace period to remove the number before disabling their account. In addition, Venali has parameters for all non-commercial/non-enterprise customers, which limit the number of faxes senders may send per transmission. Additional limitations are set as we monitor charges generated within a given period that is detected as a potential unsolicited account.

    Consequently, we ask for your assistance and cooperation in circumventing the capture of these undesired calls by contacting your local phone company to trap the source of the caller and sending an email to our support team at support@venali.com. If you see or hear about complaints from people whom are also being affected by these unfortunate occurrences, we encourage you to spread this knowledge, as it would be greatly appreciated. We can effectively work together decreasing the number of these disturbance calls, and anticipate any engagement endured, to better isolate and hopefully soon resolve this matter. I recieve at least six of these fax calls on my cell phone daily.
