This should be classified under the stand your ground act. If you can locate them, shoot them!! Never will understand the call, say nothing hang up thing!

Those call and hang up without saying anything calls are all very likely automated calls.  There are a couple of reasons no messages get left.  First, the computer generating the calls may be programmed to hang up if an answering machine picks up.  Second, these dialers make multiple calls at once, more than can actually be answered by a live agent. If there is no programmed message to play and more calls are answered than there are agents available in the call center you get silence and then a hang up. The final possibility is that the caller is looking for live numbers to add to a database to sell to other telemarketers.  All they are looking for is a live response or an answering machine to verify a working number.

Yeah ummm this number keeps calling even after I answered it, They said it was about an outstanding car loan... Yea REALLY!!! I have not had a car going on seven years and before that I had a old car which had no loan on... Well asked the middle initial of this so called person that is supposed to be me and well the middle initial is different than mine. Then asked the birth year of this said person again wrong.. Told them to lose my number and to never ever call back... Well that evidently didn't work they have called twice since then in 3 hours... LOSERS

It might be worth your while to answer the call and gain more information regarding the car loan in question, as there could be more behind this than you may realize.  My reasoning for saying this is that it is very likely that someone has stolen your identity and is using your information to gain access to loans or buy automobiles through agencies over the internet.  It is very difficult to track perpetrators that do these types of activities, but they can be traced if you find an operator that is willing to cooperate with an investigation.  If you find this to be true, contact the FBI, get a case number and than notify the three major credit bureaus and they will notify you if there is any suspicious activity taking place against you.  If the loan agency is unwilling to cooperate, ask for the phone number to their legal department and let them know that you have a case filed with the FBI.

I keep getting calls from this number about a car loan?!

THEY KEEP CALLING MY DAMN PHONE I'M GETTING ANNOYED AND ABOUT TO TAKE ACTION IF THIS HAPPENS ANOTHER MORNING I'M GOING OFF I ALREADY CURSED THEM OUT TWICE AND THEY KEEP CALLING TALKING BOUT REMEMBER ME.

The guy that called from this number tol me he wanted to f*ck me so I put it on speaker phone and my in laws were listening to what he was saying.

This number called 2 times this morning and yesterday twice. This is Indian accent, ask our name, it has been going for a few years, This is not Auto Loans, is asking our name, finance situation for their collecting.
I replay: " you are the criminal, your voice is recording, your line is tracing, you will be in Jail! " he said OK, and ask our name again, some time they reply to me " you go to jail !"  This is Criminal Please some defence department needs to pay attention, My credit cards has been used, and I have had been change my credit
cards for a number of times each years, those are all related, please stop it, this is criminal

I JUST bought a cell phone had it activated the day before and this number called me! I missed it because my phone was off...... I'm like my HUSBAND doesn't even know this number yet!I don't even know this number yet! I don't want it out and about because it's an emergency phone....So when I got home I called this number....and it is something of a car loan place.I listened to the message and at the end it says "press 1 for more info" or "press 2 to be removed" #2!!!!! "Thank you for your patience".How annoying though! If I want to go out and get a car loan it sure as heck isn't going to be with a recorded message over the phone! GET A CLUE FOLKS!

I keep getting calls form this number and they harass me all of the time.  I don;t need a car loan or anything.  These people need to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law!

they call all hours of the night

This company keeps calling my phone asking for someone that I don't know. i have asked them to stop calling and they won't. So I just keep hanging up on them.

Hello I too have been recieving these calls, so I decided to mess with them. I call them back from different numbers and let them go through their routine and give them complete useless info. eventually they got tired of me calling them and playing pranks on them the begged me to stop calling and told me they would take my number off of their list and by god it finally worked they have not called me back in two weeks. So I would suggest calling back the number from different numbers, use *67 use payphones cell phones anything but just annoy them. when giving info give different names use fake company names like one time I told them I worked for gophuckyourselfs.inc and spelled it out for them. That really pissed them off. But just keep doing this they will eventually ask you to stop calling and tell you they will not call you anymore.

I keep getting calls from these people also 305-357-4184* under the consumer laws I have the right to know how they get my number and who applied for the car loan they are calling about. This effects credit rating whenever someone checks it. Now I ask and the voice sounds foreign. I am a law student nearly graduated, not happy and I am now considering of traveling to the state this number originates to prosecute. You betcha buddy... constant calling and stating owing monies on a car/truck owed or even saying applied for a loan when this was not done is wrong. where did you get the info. My turn.. Privacy laws forbid you to call. Telemarketing blocks you from my cell/ home line and computer. Yet you still contact. Consumers are now aware... look up the consumer laws folks.

Try reporting them to the Federal Trade Commission (ftc.gov). There's a button on their website for consumer complaints. Can't hurt to try.

I love the idea of harassing them! I have answered the calls numerous times. I have told them to put me on the DNC list..... But that has not worked yet!

This number has been calling me since FEB of this year! 10 months. I have asked for managers and everything i could think. all they do is hang up on me. Then today they called again. I called back and asked for the specific name of the business so i could file a complaint. they refused to give it to me and kept hanging up on me! So i called back and simply asked for their website. They gave me a fake website!!!
