2014-02-26 @ 9:05AM CST Called and hung up when I answered.  Caller ID read V22610025900140.  Looks like the same forged caller ID pattern of the "Card Member Services" scammers.  Blocked.

The callers are the drug-addicted "card services" scammers, who call us, pretending to be associated with our credit card companies, in an attempt to fool us into giving them our credit card numbers, so they can rip us off. People that have given their card number to these junkies have suffered severe financial losses. Beware of these lowlifes, and warn others, before they are cheated!

Just called--it rang 3 times then they hung up.  I didn't answer, but now have them blocked on my phone.

We should all be familiar with these scam calls by now, they have poliferated the phone lines for years.  

The call signs are all the same, automated,  out of area call, recording, etc. Telemarketing calls are illegal.

Warn others, report the calls, and ignore.

Who would be dumb enough to think that their credit card company is going to call them and ask for their card number????   They would already have it!!!

My caller ID showed V22616075000287 with this number.  If I had been home when they called,  I would have held the phone,with the speaker on, in front of my stereo and turned it up full blast!  I did that to another "unknown" caller yesterday afternoon, and they hung up fast!

Didn't answer call and left no message.
