- TomThe callers are the drug-addicted "card services" scammers, who call us, pretending to be associated with our credit card companies, in an attempt top fool us into giving them our credit card numbers, so they can rip us off. People that have given their card number to these junkies have suffered severe financial losses. Beware of these lowlifes, and warn others, before they are cheated!
- Caller: "card services" scammers
- Call type: Telemarketer
- JohnThe card service scammers WILL "service" our credit cards, BUT, when they finish "servicing" them, they will have no available credit remaining!

- Annoyed| 1 replyAh, "Card Services" called me and harrassed me after I told them they were scammers. Swore and used vulgar language. They are a scam. The one guy got so mad it was funny. Just make a fax noise if they call.

- Tom replies to AnnoyedDue to their drug-addled brains, the only language the "card services" scammers are able to use, are simplistic, vulgar, and 4 letter words. They rarely, or never, call on Sundays, as that is their day of rest, for rehab, before they continue on Monday, to try to rip people off, to support their addictions. If it weren't for the way they continue to annoy the decent people in society, they could be a group of people (creatures) that we all could pity.
- cl| 1 replyClaims to work for visa and mastercard, that experian gave them my info, I said oh really, who am I then? He hung up on me. Watch out for these scammers
- Drillnow| 1 reply> We are wasting out time posting on this forum!!!!!!!! Nothing will happen just like listing your number on the Do-Not-Call list, N-O-T-H-I-N-G happens!!! Who knows what their real number is as they are usually calling from a fake (SPOOF) number.... I get calls all the time from new numbers as the old ones I block on my phone. Just hang up or when the want your credit card number tell then to hold on while you get it, sure. My view...
> Here is how they do it, Just Google search "How to SPOOF a caller I.D. number"
> How is this legal???? Read this; http://www.creditcards.com/credit-card-news/F ... _scams-1282.php- Caller: Credit Card Services

- John| 1 replyI just received on of these calls on my home phone. The fellow on the other end would only tell me he was with my credit card agency and couldn't tell me what bank he was with. He seemed annoyed that I continue asking for the bank he was with. I told him to not call again and that I wasn't interested in his fraud, hung up and he called right back. Then he got nasty and f*** you and still tried to convince me he was with a reputable credit card agency. I can't believe these people can do this and get away with this. This is where we need the government to be protecting us, some are gullible enough to fall for this stuff.
- Teri replies to JohnI agree. What can be done to track these scammers down and put them in jail?
- jeff replies to DrillnowSay what? What do you expect this discussion board to do for you? It is simply a site that lets people find out who is calling them and share information. It is not a call blocking service nor is it a law enforcement agency. Just a discussion board providing information FREE OF CHARGE to anyone who comes here.
And while we are on the subject, What do you Expect the Do not call registry to do for you concerning scammers? That is not the DNC Registry Responsibility or reason for its creation or existence. How in the world do you expect Spoofed numbers to be acted upon by a "LIST". NOthing mechanical, no people monitoring your personal calls, and nothing more than just a list. The registry was created and is solely for the purpose of allowing people to sign up so that they will not receive Telephone Sales Calls from those businesses who are legitimately Registered with the FTC. NOt scammers or any other unwanted caller. Unless they are regisgtered with the FTC, and attempt to sell you goods or services, it is the responsibility of other government agencies. Do some reading for Gosh sakes and learn what you are talking about. - LindaleeMessage was that the caller was from Florida. I checked to see if it was from my sister but did not pick up.
- MABJust got a call from that number a few moments ago. Did not answer, as I NEVER answer unknown callers. I'm on the Do Not Call List, but that doesn't work.
- MAB-AgainThey also use the numbers 305-368-8839, 8853, 8857, and 8896. All from Miami.
- mouseGot a call from this number, don't know anyone in Florida so didn't pick up. I now have a list of different numbers for this scam. 21 numbers and only one repeat. They are as pathetic as the "Prize winner" calls and just as dumb, anyone who falls for this doesn't watch the news. These are all spoofed numbers and you can't trace them. But spreading the numbers and information we do have will make it harder to dupe folks, so keep reporting these calls.

- JackieThese people called me over the past weekend and were extremely rude and sarcastic when I asked them who they were, and when I asked to speak to their supervisor. When I tried calling the number back, it was busy and had a strange ring. We should not have to be subjected to these types of calls. They claimed to be able to lower the interest rate on my credit card. I only tried to ask them to be removed from their call list and they verbally abused me.
