The callers are the drug-addicted "card services" scammers, who call us, pretending to be associated with our credit card companies, in an attempt to fool us into giving them our credit card numbers, so they can rip us off. People that have given their card numbers to these junkies have suffered severe financial losses. Beware of these lowlifes, and warn others, before they are cheated!

The card service scammers   WILL   "service" our credit cards,   BUT,   when they finish "servicing" them, they will have no available credit remaining!

The scammers called a secure witpro location and their incoming call was traced to their physical location due to the latest upgrade of the new anti-terrorism communication technology. The local agency will be breaking down their doors shortly.

Um ... today is April 2nd.  YESTERDAY was "April Fools Day".  You must be a very slow typist!
("Local agencies" in India will not be breaking down any doors because of scam phone calls)

Hope that there could be at least some truth in his comments about locating the "card services" scammers.This particular "cell" of these degenerates using the 305 and 360 sets of spoofed numbers is actually known to work out of locations in Florida.

Credit Card Scammers, I hung up the phone and blocked the number. I swear that's the best thing about Panasconic cordless phones.

Just got my first one, too, at 1:28 pm today. No answer, hung up, called back and busy signal.

I receive these calls constantly, day and night, saying they are my credit card company. Nothing I can do removes my number from their list. What can I do to get rid of them?

Just got a call today.  Pressed 9 to be passed to an operator.  Clearly the call center is outsourced to another country.  I asked to be removed from the list and waited (after a long pause) for the rep to acknowledge my request.  Also filing a complaint to Do Not Call.

The "card services" don't have a "list'', they use a robodialer, which dials numbers in a mainly sequential order, until someone picks up, and becomes their next potential victim. Some people try to block the incoming calls, but this "cell" of scammers seldom use the same number repeatedly, so each new number must be added to the list of blocked numbers--after you have been bothered by it at least once. If you decide to attempt to block the calls, it would be best to block the ENTIRE 305 and 360 area codes, which should eliminate the calls from this particular group of "card services" scammers for now. Also don't answer any calls from numbers you are not familiar with especially ones from out of your area code, or which are unidentified. Also NEVER try to return their calls, as this is likely to INCREASE the number of calls you receive. No amount of requests for them to stop calling will have any effect. Some folks believe in reporting them as violators of the do not call registries, but the value of that may be questionable, as the scammers use all spoofed (false) numbers to hide their true identities and locations, to avoid prosecution, but it takes little effort to make a report, so it could end up being worthwhile in the long run. I've blocked all 305 area code and they never ring through

I answered listened to the sweet american woman on the recording then pressed 9 to ask to be removed from the call list couldn't understand the person just so happens in the us if someone calls and they don't speak clear English you can ask for someone who does or a supervisor was told none were available. told him to remove me from call list oh cannot do that, then asked exactly what call was about he said if you listened to recording and you don't know what the [***] are you still doing on the phone and i proceeded to let him know our local DA would be getting a complaint he said well you do that and laughed. if they call you please go to fcc.gov/complaint and file a complaint against any number like that its how they track down and shut down this type of scum!!!

The problem is, these idiots just continue to change or spoof other phone numbers to bypass such things.  May an electrical storm fry all their equipment and them with it.

You can rant all you wish (there are sympathetic ears here) but do not hold your breath in the hope that someone can stop these people.  They are scam artists so they don't care if you don't want to be called and don't care if your on a do-not-call list.  They blatant violate the law because they are criminals and they hide behind technology to keep from being located.

Answering calls from the card service scammers, with the intent of requesting them to not call again is an act of futility. We all need to recognize these callers are criminals, not simply annoying telemarketers.

These butt-wipes called my DNC listed phone at 1702 hrs today.  Realizing it was a spam/scam call, I simply picked up but did not speak.  The system disconnected almost immediately.  (Most robo-messaging systems apparently don't trigger until someone speaks.  Don't speak and most will disconnect by themselves.  It doesn't stop them from calling again and again because they're scam artists but at least you don't have to listen to the nonsense.)

I've been receiving calls from this group of scammers for a few years now. They use every area code in the US, even your local code. Even if you do have the capability to block incoming numbers, that will only work for a few calls because after their computer system goes through the numbers in a certain area code a few times it just switches the calling from area codes and starts all over again. The scammers don't care about the Do Not Call list because they are calling from outside of the US. If we could locate the US based call center they are working through, maybe something could be done to put an end to this harassment. I've tried the immediate hang up and the pick-up but don't say anything techniques but that just seemed to increase the number of calls.

Just got a call from this number and I DO NOT answer my phone anymore unless I know who's calling me.  I have also turned off my answering machine so these idiots cannot leave a message. Thank God for caller ID on my TV.  If I had a nickel for every call I have received calls from bogus callers,  I'd be rich.  Don't have time to listen to anyone's speech about what ever they are trying to sell.  Never give to charities either as I don't know how much of my dollar goes to the person in need.
