- TomThe callers are the drug-addicted "card services" scammers, who call us, pretending to be associated with our credit card companies, in an attempt to fool us into giving them our credit card numbers, so they can rip us off. People that have given their card numbers to these junkies have suffered severe financial losses. Beware of these lowlifes, and warn others, before they are cheated! Additional information regarding these degenerates may be found by visiting 800notes 305-368-8260 through 8271.
- Caller: "card services" scammers
- JohnThe card service scammers WILL "service" our credit cards, BUT, when they finish "servicing" them, they will have NO available credit remaining! These scammers are especially dangerous, as they target the low income and the elderly, who many times, due to financial considerations, do not have caller id and the internet to protect themselves. Make sure to let those who are vulnerable, know of these lowlifes, before they are taken advantage of!
- Caller: card service scammers
- anonymousI screen all my calls. Just got a call on my landline from these crooks. I never pick up my landline, and receive important calls on my cell. I'm an old lady, and I think it's disgusting that they target the elderly.
- Caller: Gobbledygook
- Julie C| 1 replyScam alert on this number! I don't even have credit cards, so they shouldn't be calling me offering their "services".
- Caller: CID says "Florida"
- Benji G replies to Julie Csame here, I NEVER have had credit cards, have been living at this number for 8+ years now and I keep receiving these calls, multiple numbers, same "credit card services" scam.
- LizThey called me today. Caller ID said FLORIDA. Didn't pick up the phone, just added them to my list of scam numbers
- mimi| 7 repliesjust got a call from this #, I checked it... how can we get rid of them, am also on " do not call list ", How can we be protected?
- John replies to mimi| 3 repliesOne possibility to avoid calls from the card service scammers, is to block their incoming calls. Start out by blocking the ENTIRE 305 and 360 area codes, as these are the ones most commonly used by this "cell" of card service scammers. Also it is advisable not to answer calls from numbers you are not familiar with, ESPECIALLY those from out of your local area and area code. NEVER return a call to a number seen on caller id that does not leave a message, as this will set you up for an increased volume of unwanted calls. Some people believe in reporting each call as a violation of the do not call registry, but the value of this is questionable, as most, if not all of the numbers they use are spoofed (false).
- Fed Up! replies to John| 2 repliesI have done the "do not call list" and it is a waste of time. I am getting up to 8 calls per day now and I do not pick up the phone. I am not well and need rest but that is impossible with these idiots calling all the time. I do not know how to block numbers so can anyone help me out???
- Sweet replies to mimi| 2 repliesI received a call from this number also. It said Florida. I blocked the number. The Do Not Call is just good for 3 or 4 years. Better check to make sure you are still on it. I had to re do mine a few days ago because I thought I was still on it but just good for so many years.
- John replies to Fed Up!Blocking of calls is accomplished either through your service provider, the telephone instrument itself, or an external device which is connected to the line. Start out by asking your service provider if they offer blocking, if they do not, you may need a telephone which has this option or a call blocking device. As mentioned previously, blocking of entire area codes is best, as the scammers change their numbers frequently!
- Slim replies to Sweet>> THE DO NOT CALL IS JUST GOOD FOR 3 OR 4 YEARS <<
Incorrect.
Obviously, you have not checked lately.

http://business.ftc.gov/documents/bus27-compl ... -rule#DNCrights - LABMy caller ID only said "Cell Phone, FL". I do not answer calls from numbers I don't recognize. However, area code (305) is the original Miami, FL area code, and as such is usually from a landline - house or business, and not very often found on cellphones. (It's also local for me.) I didn't answer, and once my answering machine kicked in, they hung up. Glad to see someone else could positively identify them as "foe".
- Caller: Cell Phone FL
- Deb replies to Fed Up!I usually re register my phone numbers...cell and land line...with the do not call list, only get stupid calls once in a blue moon. I've heard it's recommended every 3 months so that's what I try do.
- want them to stopI keep receiving calls from this number as well..I picked up phone and no one on other end. First calls were coming from a California number regarding credit cards. They may be connected.
