- John replies to FredIt is wise to block, or not answer ALL unknown calls from the 305 area code-- the code of scammers!
- e miffittI am so sick of these calls... I stop what I'm doing, check the ID and of course, they never leave a message. I know it's probably automatic dialing until some poor fool picks up. I used to keep a whistle by the phone for heavy breathers, maybe these [***] need a whistle to drop from calling me!
- COW WILLIE| 1 replyI do not answer if the number is not known to me. Sounds like a scam. I call them piss ants. You don't get anything for free. I'm on the do not call registry which must be a joke. Another tax milk.

- Jon| 2 repliesWhen this number calls my number my Caller ID says Wireless Caller & gives number. No message left on my voice mail. When I called the number back a recording tells me the caller has not yet set up his voice mail account. Try again later.
- Fred| 1 replyAlmost thinking when you put your number in to be removed from one list, they in turn around and sell it to some other robocall company.
- Caller: Wireless Caller
- Anonoymous| 4 repliesGot a call, I said "Hello" than the line was silent for a few seconds than the call hung up, no one on the other end talked. This is the classic way of indexing people's phone numbers as a list of potential people whom to scam. To them I say good luck because I can talk for hours on end just to waste their damn time!!!
I get these scam calls all the freaking time. Mostly, I get the ones where they say you have won a "$100 Walmart gift-card" or they say that they have a "Value-pass" to give me that will magically save me more than 50% at stores; the "Value-pass" consists of publically available coupons from retailers and the "$100 walmart gift-card" is them charging your card at least $100+ dollars.
They will attempt multiple times and use different tactics to get your credit / debit card number, usually they say it will cost X amount for shipping and handling to send the card or value-pass to you. DO NOT EVER GIVE THEM YOUR CARD NUMBER UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!!
Yeah I'm not one to be fooled easily and there is no way they will get any of my card information.
If you ask them if they have a website, they do not have one at all or they lie and say they have one and it doesn't load.
If you ask who their LLC or company name is you cannot find it registered online or in the city they say they are from.
Well they are going to have a great time talking to me in the future as I will proceed to keep the phone conversation going as long as possible just to waste their damn time, so if your a scammer go ahead call me, I dare you!- Caller: Scammer
- EdGot a call from this number, immediately ignored and added to Mr. Numbers block list. The national Do Not Call registry only applies to legitimate telemarketers, these scam-marketers are only using spoofed numbers and social engineering to phish out PII.

- Tick| 2 repliesJust received a pre-recorded call on my cell congratulating me for winning a cruise to the Bahamas. According to Snopes: The Telephone Consumer Protection Act of 1991 prohibits any calls to cell phones that employ auto-dialers or any artificial or prerecorded voice messages. Unfortunately, customers have little recourse against telemarketers who willfully ignore the Do Not Call Registry and violate other restrictions against placing calls to cell phones. Violators can be reported to the FCC, but that organization has limited resources to investigate and take action regarding the thousands of cases reported to them daily.

- Nickie Hcall received 1 July 9:30a on my mobile phone offering free Bahamas cruise for answering their survey; phone is listed on US & Florida DNC lists. Dropped call when prompted to press 1 to begin survey (assume that would allow them to keep calling).
