I have been getting lots of calls from this area code-I assume it's Canadian Pharmacy

Called and was blocked by spam filter.

Called claimed to be gnc financial

Got a call from this number at work. Person asked for the owner of the company by name. Told the guy that he is traveling and unavailable. He asked if he had a cell phone number! (Really?) When I asked who it was, the clearly Indian person said "Tony from GNC Financial" and followed up with "I ASKED if he had a cell phone number". Ha! Rude. I followed up with "I TOLD YOU he is traveling and unavailable. No, he does not have a cell phone number that YOU can have." I got hung up on. Either a scammer or solicitor, I assume.

Same here... someone clearly with an Indian accent wanted to speak to the owner of the company. They had no clue who they were even calling since I work for a non-profit organization whose "owner" is a board of 90+ members. This is obviously a telemarketer.

I think the caller said "GMC Financial", rather than "GNC". A look at what appears to be their webpage confirms in my mind that they're an obvious overseas scam (or a domestic scam outsourced to the cheapest possible overseas call centers and web designers). "We know we can help you answer the people have when they are planning to retire, like when would they be able to do it[...]".

The webpage suggests that they're posing as retirement account managers.

called asking for first name of owner. I told them she was busy, would they like to make appointment. asked if they could come to the phone. they did not give name or company so I hung up on them. THey're from miami

They called my job asking for the owner (They used a nickname for him and he doesn't go by shortened versions of his name) so I knew it was a solicitation call. I told the girl with a heavy middle eastern accent that he was in a meeting who is calling and what is it regarding. She stated she was from GMC Financial and wanted to discuss the Finances. I stated we were not interested and to be removed from the list. She said she was REQUIRED to speak to him and she would call his cell phone and asked me for his number. I told her no thank you and hung up!

Heavy accented man asked for the owner. I informed him the owner lives in Italy.  He asked if this was "carpet". I'm sorry, what?  Finally realized he was saying "corporate".  I informed him that, yes, this was corporate, but the owner STILL lives in Italy. He hung up on me

I was called numerous time from so called gmac financial to make me offer that I never ask for.
Never need their money or anything from them but they still call me again and again.

indian woman scammer.  I just kept telling her i didn't understand her and hung up

Asked if I was interested in a no interest loan.  I was eligible for 1.5 million dollar loan.  Told him no.  Hung up.

Wow, our Indian friend gets around.  Asked to talk to the owner of my company today.  It didn't happen.  Didn't give him a chance to ask for the cell number either.

I used to get 3 to 6 calls like this a day then I bought a call blocker not I get a call maybe once every 2 or 3 weeks .
today I got this place calling me wanting to give me a loan . I acted like it was a place I inquired about a very large business loan from .
it really got them all excited ! after I asked some questions I told the person on the phone I would need to talk to some one with more authority that could handle a loan of the size I was in need of .
she hung up on me .
I don't own a business !

305 is the area for Miami-Dade area in Florida

They called and spoke but it sounded like a speaker phone and the caller was on the other side of a warehouse.  Definitely Indian accent and wanted to talk to the owner.  I hung up on him.
