FedUP - 2 Jul 2008Received a call this morning from this number - didn't answer. I co-signed for my ex-loser. Oops - I mean ex-husband for his school loans. He's not paying on the loans that I co-signed for, so they're coming after me. I'm a stay-at-home Mom, so I have no income. I realize they're doing their job, but how many times do I have to tell them, I can't pay this???

randy - 7 Jul 2008contact a lawyer. your local state government should be able to refer you to a free or almost free attorney to advise you on this. DO NOT SEND ANY MONEY TO THIS COMPANY AS THAT WILL MAKE YOU LOOK LIABLE! If it comes down to it, tell them to file a law suit. They will have a much better chance filling against your ex than you and they know that.

This company represents any company that will sell them a debt for cheap. DO NOT SEND ANY MONEY UNLESS YOU ARE WILLING TO PAY DEBT IN FULL! Sending any money will restart your statute of limitations in most states. Talk to a lawyer before you pay anything.
