Received a call from 305-442-5000.  It was a recording from FPL (Florida Power & Light) apologizing for recent power outages due to their equipment failure at a local substation.

I received a similar recorded message regarding a power outage due to a construction accident.

(305) 442-5000 This number Belongs to FPL The Big Monopoly. It uses this number as a main drive thru line and caller ID to for all type of calls from Collections to Basic information.

I received a call from this number somewhere does greeting in my ear and talking

Received a call from this number on my cell phone. Tried to pick up but stopped after 2 rings and became missed call. When I tried to call the # was advised that it was a Florida Power & Light number that was not in service.

Got the same call. Can't believe this !@#$%% is wasting his time making these calls. I wish we had more regulation on this.

I guess this number is back to using the FPL recording.  They left a voicemail about an apology for any interruptions due to work in our area.  Then it gave a name and number to call (in our area code, which is not 305) if we had any questions.  So if it is a prank, they just did it to annoy some guy named Brian at the phone number they left me.

Just stated that it was FPL and that its important that I give them a call today.

Florida power & light co. sayig we will fix all outages asap , foreign accent(Asian) female. Since I don't live in or near florida it has to be a scam!

received call . Cid said Fl Power Light . Picked up call but said nothing and no one or message there . Strange !!! Did report a trouble recently !!

It was a recorded message advising me when they were going to do a meter reading and to please make sure the area was clear for this.

X2 calls...They identified themselves as FPL.. I just changed business address and I'm shutting down the power to old office. Both calls were to confirm shut off.

Got a call from this number said it was fpl. Fpl CS said noone called from thier office. BEWARE!!!!!

It's FPL.  No need to beware.  I have a Close Service appointment and they called to confirm.

These people called me 6 times in 10 minutes.  I did not pick up, no answering machine.  2 nights ago in the middle of the night, the power went out several times.  I woke up each time because my air purifier beefs when it shuts off.  Based on what some people wrote on here that they called apologizing- well, that is just useless.  Give me a $20 credit and I'll forgive you.  Calling me using a robocaller to apologize?  FRACKING USELESS!!!  Give me money and stop bothering me.  Yeah, I know- it will never happen.

This number is a scammer trying to get you out of your house! They tried to get me out at 4:00 am!!!! FPL confirmed this is a scammer
