This is a company hired to do fundraising.  They call from any of the following numbers  305-503-3543 305-503-3537 305-503-3548 305-503-3516 305-503-3545 305-503-3540 305-503-3533 305-503-3512 305-503-3547 305-503-3551 305-503-3530 (these are the last few I have on my caller ID )
I get on an average 5 to 6 phone calls a day sometimes more. Usually there is just a beep (like the call is being recorded--which I am told it is) I am told it is a computer calling you get a person if they are not on another line.

I made the biggest mistake of my life donating to the Florida Association of State Troopers  F.A.S.T. a couple years ago now I am on their fundraising list.  The calls are comming from a company hired to do their fundraising so until you actually get someone to talk to you you will not know who it is for.

I have called the Florida Association of State Troopers and asked them to get my name off their list.  After doing this I still received phone calls of a week before an actual person came on the line.  I told them also to NEVER call me again.  I had a break for a few days.  Now they are calling again.  One of my kids got someone who only spoke spanish and hung up.  Today I called the Florida Association of State Troopers and they are researching it. They told me that if I told them not to call me that by law they cannot.

At this point I am ready to hire a lawyer and file a lawsuit against the company for harrassment.

Anyone else having the same problems? any further suggestions?

HELP!!!  Thanks!

We get a call from 305-503-3540 or similar numbers on a weekly basis, when calling back all we get is a recording telling us the number is temporarily disconnected and some type of code composed of letters and numbers. Is outrageous!

Thank you.

I received a call from this number today.  Caller ID said it was F.A.S.T. whomever they are.  When I answered there was no reply - I hung up.  Adhering to my policy of one hello, two hellos, three hellos, CLICK!  Am online now trying to identify the name and or number and found this website.

Received the call tonight 305 503 3519, caller ID "F.A.S.T.".  Searched FL Dept. of State, Division of Corporations ( www.sunbiz.org ) for F.A.S.T.  Found a rejected filing for FAST filed in Aug '07 by Thomas Demare and a cross-reference filing for "Florida Association of State Troopers".

No, I will not donate money for Troopers who didn't protect themselves and their families with appropriate insurance and/or want political action committees to strengthen their influence.  Especially when they persist in calling, sometimes using caller ID "Unknown Name/Unknown Number", after I've told them I don't sympathize and please remove me from their list.

Interesting that the number range also appears affiliated with CT Communications out of Plantation, FL which has a definite connection to the  Paetec group mentioned by an earlier poster.  Probably just a den of telemarketer scum in the employ of various businesses and so-called charities.

Just got a call blank beep from 305 503 3519. My deceased mother (whose name was the same as mine) used to donate to all these phone solicitations (Fla. State Troopers & the local Firefighters are BIG on calling- at one point I was getting dozens of calls per week. It's slowed down in the last year because I NEVER give them a dime.) I have given up  telling them the easily gullible elderly woman is dead and requesting they take my phone number off the list. If I talk to them at all they say 'don't you want to donate in her memory' or 'can't you afford just a small donation'. Now when someone asks to speak to what I think is me, I ask who they are and when they say enough to let me know they're a charity, I just say 'I don't respond to telephone solicitations. Goodbye.' And hang up.

I'm only that polite because if you're any less polite, they keep calling back, just to harass.

Have had the same phone number all my life, so I refuse to change it just to get rid of these people, which seems to be the only method that might work.

One of my favorite scumbags is a guy named Richard Salvador aka Richard Dunbar of Great Northwest Advertising. Richard spoofs his caller id using spoofcard.com. Richard served 5 years (was sentenced to 9) for his part in one of the nations largest telemarketing scams in U.S. history. He was targeting and ripping off senior citizens. The FBI sting operation was called "operation disconnect". Richard routinely threatens to kill people. Customers, competitors, empolyees etc. He likes to record himself doing so. Richard recently put his 14 year old daughter in the hospital. His ex wife and daughter are now in hiding. He uses methamphetamines and steroids. Don't believe me? Check this out:

Rating: 0 I WORK FOR THEM - 8 Jul 2008
I work for these people who supposedly harass you. They have five offices in Florida, each one designated to a certain area. They have a huge sign outside the office that permanently says, "Now Hiring." This is because they mostly hire high school drop-outs and teenagers with little or no education. They pay them minimum wage, give them a script to read, and sit them in front of a computer. Nobody in the office knows anything about the programs they are calling, they are just paid slave wages to be drones. Half the people in the office are hungover and the other half are stoned. One word of advice: Stop yelling at the people calling you. Not only because it's not their fault the company rigs the computers to call everyone fifty times, but they don't even know what they're doing, only following orders.

The details are as follows: The company, called WCS, Inc., does fundraising for a completely legal non-profit organization called FAST (Florida Association of State Troopers). FAST is one of the largest and oldest trooper organizations in the state, serving the Florida troopers since 1982 and actually providing goodwill programs and helping out the community. However, WCS Inc. itself is in shambles. They will do anything and everything to get money from as many people as they can. They have forty eight lines, YES 48, calling people throughout the Miami area. That's why you get so many calls. These people have three buttons in front of them (1. disconnected 2. call back 3. no pledge). If you say or do any of the following: hang up on a representative, not pick up the phone, or be rude or hostile without telling them to not call you back, they are instructed to press 2. call back. Unless you specifically tell them you are not interested and do not wish to be called again, they will keep calling you. Of course, it happens often that workers press 2 when they would press 3, mostly because they don't care enough to pay attention.

Basically, you're all screwed. Chances are whomever you spoke to three weeks ago doesn't even work there anymore. The turnover rate is huge. I've seen 10 people get hired and fired in one week. And every week it's the same. Lack of training, education, and experience means you are going to get stuck with people harassing you until you're lucky enough to be removed from their calling list. It's all legal, I assure you. As you all know the federal do not call list does not apply to fundraisers or political campaigns. FAST is a fundraiser. So, until a new law is enacted, they pretty much have the right to keep calling and harassing you.

Rating: 0 Tried that, didn't work. - 14 Aug 2008
Unfortunately politely telling them to please take you off the calling list  hasn't worked for me. I tried that three times and the result each time was a stepped-up frequency of calls.

I've found that if I simply do not answer them for a week then several months might go by without them calling me again. That is a better result than any of my requests to remove me from the list ever got.

Since I also was getting hit by both the prisoner scam (calls from prison trying to find gullible people) and the anti-prisoner scams (calls *claiming* to be from prison which actually aren't from the prison but which direct you to another number to be taken off the allowed calling list for prisoners, but this other number is either an expensive toll number or a ruse to get you to put in a number sequence allowing them to charge long-distance calls to you.)

In the long run, paying for caller ID, and an answerphone and letting anyone I don't recognize go to message has saved me tons of aggravation.
