305-503-3534

I have recieved in a matter of several days calls from several numbers with same prefix and area code.  The last 4 digits are similar. They are 305-503-3539, 305-503-3543, 305-503-3544 as well as the one reported on.  I called all the numbers back and they are temporarily disconnected.  Anyone have any idea what this could be?  Are they jail numbers?

Don't know really, but I received various phone calls with similar numbers and decided to call back to see what it was about and the message was the same:  "The phone you have reached has been temporarily disconnected".  Then, to end the message some kind of code was mentioned:  PUAMI20.

This is a company hired to do fundraising.  They call from any of the following numbers  305-503-3543 305-503-3537 305-503-3548 305-503-3516 305-503-3545 305-503-3540 305-503-3533 305-503-3512 305-503-3547 305-503-3551 305-503-3530 (these are the last few I have on my caller ID )
I get on an average 5 to 6 phone calls a day sometimes more. Usually there is just a beep (like the call is being recorded--which I am told it is) I am told it is a computer calling you get a person if they are not on another line.  

I made the biggest mistake of my life donating to the Florida Association of State Troopers  F.A.S.T. a couple years ago now I am on their fundraising list.  The calls are comming from a company hired to do their fundraising so until you actually get someone to talk to you you will not know who it is for.

I have called the Florida Association of State Troopers and asked them to get my name off their list.  After doing this I still received phone calls of a week before an actual person came on the line.  I told them also to NEVER call me again.  I had a break for a few days.  Now they are calling again.  One of my kids got someone who only spoke spanish and hung up.  Today I called the Florida Association of State Troopers and they are researching it. They told me that if I told them not to call me that by law they cannot.  

At this point I am ready to hire a lawyer and file a lawsuit against the company for harrassment.  

Anyone else having the same problems? any further suggestions?

Got the same thing.  What ever transpired for you. I just got two hang ups. One Says FAST on my caller ID. I answered, they hung up. The other says Miami, Florida. I answered, they hung up. And then I call back and it is disconnected.

F.A.S.T. is the worst! They try to pass themselves off as honorable law enforcement folk but they are not! Beware!I actually had to call the main office in Tallahassee and accuse them of harassment and threaten an action against them thru the FTC.We are on the Federal do not call list.The first time I gave to them was about 10 years ago.It was a mere $20 and it made me feel good knowing that some underprivileged cop's kid would get to go to summer camp,or college or get a teddy bear.That's the way it was pitched to me.Then the calls and letters began.Then,along came the do not call list.We registered our phone numbers.We had not sent them money for years...yet the calls continued.They associate themselves with the police and act thuggishly because they think the general public will 1)give automatically if they are led to believe that they are actually giving directly to a police benevolence fund or 2)be cowed by "heavy" attitudes and harassing phone calls HINTING THAT THEY ARE "THE LAW"...These people,in fact,are de facto criminals because they sadly mis-represent the fine law enforcement officers of this state and take a huge 'cut" for themselves in the process...IGNORE THEM!SUE THEM!REPORT THEM!
