I keep getting a phone call from this number. If I owes a bill they should already know my social security number and birthday. I do not know who is on the other line of the phone and to much fraud is going on.

Called by Ruth Steinburg who said she had my SSN and my office phone number. Said needed to be called back immediately or the sky would start falling (something like that). Checked number, law firm in FL (Greg Adars & Associates) Called , spoke to someone who asked if I knew Tina? Said no, "not in this office". Replied that they had a wrong number and hung up.

Obviously reading from a script.  This is a "junk"  debt collector, trying to collect on a debt way passed the Statute of Limitations in my state. While it is legal to try to collect...they cannot bring any legal action against me i.e. judgements, lawsuits, etc.  I recently bought a car (2012) which proves I hv no bad debt "attached to my ss#.  Plus I haven't had bad debt since my 30s..and I am now well passed my 40s.

they called my husband about a loan i took out when i was 21 i spoke with a very nice gentleman that was able to set me up on a payment plan outside of court. they sent me all my documentation before i made any payments or gave my debit card and i called cashnetusa to validate the debt. they are on BBB.org with an A- and located in boca raton florida

law office is calling me about a loan i took out 3 years saying they are going to file a judgement against me...my attorney said because its in statue of limitations they can go after my wages....

ANDREW...if this is a PDL then go to ask.com and type in what states are illegal for a PDL you will get a list of 12 states and the other states has guide lines..if you live in one of the illegal states the low life debt collection company will not take you to court and if they do all you have to say YOUR HONOR I JUST FOUND THAT THIS PDL IS ILLEGAL IN OUR STATE,,THEY DO NOT HAVE A LICENSE TO LOAN MONEY..
now the judge will fine them thousands of dollars and he will dismiss your debt your pay back what you borrowed minus all interest and pay no processing fees and subtract any payments you already made..
one more thing if you happen to live in one of the illegal states and your lawyer didnt know about illegal PDLs

andrew...did you check out the 12 states where its illegal for a PDL..you have to live in one of these states,now if you dont and your states is legal then check the guidelines for your state..ex..california the PDL is legal but the max they can lend out is 300.00 anything over the 300.00 you dont have to pay back
again in the illegal states the PDL has to have a license to loan you money if there not license then they violated the law..
andrew tell me what state you live and ill look it up
also if your filing bankruptcy what are you worried about just list the PDL and if your lawyer said you cant do that then find another lawyer

The company calls itself Gregory Adams & Assoc. Obviously a debt collector. They sounded very official like a lawyers office on my message. Different from most paid debt collectors.
 If you pay one of these debt collectors make sure what you are getting for it. Write offs can be considered income on your taxes.
 We are all in a big boat of ruined credit thanks to the crash during the last couple years. To bad the banks wouldn't work with me when I had a job years before the crash and just wanted to lower my interest rate and pay down my debt. I am probably never going to get my credit recovered.

simply google bbb.org look up the company by name.... its always a scam when some one wants there money back....located in fl  A- rating ..... sounds like another excuse as to y ppl have to try and trick you to pay your bills... grow up..!!

look at this guy know he borrowed the money but using loop holes to try and get out of it..... and then has the nerve to jump on the computer and say things when you dont pay your bills obviously this isnt based off your credit becase if it was you prob wouldnt get the loan stupid....if it was based off your credit you would have borrwed the money from the bank or an actual lender...  you probably screwed up your backround wich is y u use payday loans..... and if your in your 40 and still getting dbt collection call odds are your backround isnt clean and you do this all the time just saying they dont pick your name out of a hat and say hmmmmmmm "zoe" owes money be realistic you borrowed the money in your time of need... and now just dont wna pay it back... just keep it 100 "zoe"..... zoe huh yeah you say your in your 40 but sounds like your more like in your 20's zoe...lmao grow up change your mind frame and be an adult...

I got called too and hung up on them.  Nice to know that I hung up on another POS debt collector.

When they call...... tell them they are being recorded and then see how there attitude changes  ....
