someone called me from this number stating my son had just been involved in a horrible car accident. When I asked for more details it didn't make sense.

Llaman en español con acento cubano pidiendo dinero para ayudar a un familiar que tuvo un accidente. They call to scam people.

Someone called saying they had my son and would kill him. did not provide any info and didn't sound right. Called my son and he was fine. Be Careful!

I got a call too from this number this is a total scam do not fall for it!!!!!! I don't understand why police has not caught these guys. They use the same number for months. Two Puerto Rican guys saying to send money western union it's all a scam!!!!!

Same thing here! I called the Miami Dade Police and they said that this was a scam and told me not to worry about it! They said that it was a clone number and that they could not do anything about it. I told them that it was [***] because i redialed the number and I got the same Puerto Rican...If I can get in touch with the [***] how can the cops not be able to do anything about it?

It is incredible that we have such a sorry ass police department that allows people like this to get away with stuff like this.

In latin countries this happens a lot and this is called "Secuestro Express" (Express Kidnapping) they say they have your family and if you don't wire money, they kill your family.

Got a call from this low life piece of $hit on mothers day. Same story. They would not let me hang up or they would kill my nephew. I hung up and called the cops. They said it was a scam and they could do nothing about it. Called my cell phone company and they told me the phone call originated from harrisburg,  pa. Beware these low lifes are not in miami florda. They just use numbers from miami. Called the police in harrisburg pa and they advised they are aware of it. What a piece of garbage. DONT FALL FOR THIS SCAM!!!!
