- anonymous replies to JeannieTHIS IS A SCAM. Scammers pretend to be law enforcement (police, sheriff, Feds, AG's Office, fake cop agencies with made-up names) and using bought/hacked loan application data to extort money for fictitious crimes or your personal ID.

- jenny replies to jennyThese scammers will tell you that they are from a payday loan... If you get a loan from someone they get your information also through a third party lender just to let you know they are scammers... I made a police report and had an investigator call me and they are doing some investigation on these scammers... Hope this helps...... Be careful...
- JaneneA Michelle Williams called and asked for my attorney's number and if I had been briefed in the matter at hand. She said that she was from the dept of law and information. When I asked her to call me back, she gave me the run around and said that I had to call her before 5 and wouldn't tell me where she was from.

- Squire James| 1 replyGot a message from an Indian gentlemen for my wife, saying she was quote "In a big legal mess" and that we had to call them at this number to resolve it. If we ignored the call they would quote "assume you are running away from your problem"
Pretty threatening, and they called her father with the same call. Probably got our number from a loan application we made. It's still a scam though, we are not in any legal trouble at all. If he calls again I'll pick up and have a go at him. I am certainly unhappy that they tried to threaten my wife. - Squire James replies to Squire JamesJust got another call from these buggers. I recognise the voice now, we got calls last week from the same guy saying we needed assistance with our taxes, and the week before that saying we were in debt and he was calling from a debt relief organisation. Apparently every time you bust their cover and tell them you won't deal with them and that you don't have an outstanding debt, or you have already filed your taxes and are not being audited, they change their tactic.
Any more of this and I'm calling the police. Even if it's not a criminal matter they can deal with, I am sure they have a phone number for a branch of local government or an organisation that does deal with this kind of scum. - Ameila replies to PaulI am thankful that I have taken the time to look up this number. They called me repeatedly, and also called my job. The office at my employment forwarded me the voicemail, and what I heard was unbelievable. The tone in his voice and the amount of information he shared was surely unprofessional saying that I committed fraud. I admit that I am very easy at times, so I tried my hardest to listen to everything they were saying and they said that it was a payday loan that I hadn't paid back for $400. I think I would remember this... The man was extremely rude and pushy telling me that I would have to settle it in court and pay $7000 or "take care" of it now and pay the $400, and on multiple occassions I know he hung up on me! I asked for the date that this incident occurred as well as the bank and account number that this transaction was made with and he just gave me the name of the bank. Just to make SURE that I was not crazy. I called my bank as well as looked on my account history online to see all transactions in this month... no where in my history with my bank does it show any history with this so called company "cashadvanceamerica", which does have a website, but who knows if IT legit. Of course, a sigh of relief that I was not crazy, but I definately don't appreciate how I wasted over an hour of my day becoming irate trying to figure what on earth was going on... I have never had any nonsense go this far. Unbelievable.
- blaiseThey called me and told me I had a warrent for my arrest in 24 hours and that they where from a law firm it scared me but indeed a scam

- Concerned PersonCalled me and had my last 4 of SSN. After calling them out on a supposed loan I had not paid for, I apparently frustrated them so much that all the caller could say was "Motherf**ker" over and over. I then called him Habib which sent him into a tirade. Obviously a scam. Would not state who they were.

- M. B.I was in a meeting when my Assistant Manager called and said "Gina White" called and said it was very urgent I call her back today because I am under some sort of investigation. I had been frantic about this all day. Since I was in another city, I waited until the meeting was over and I was on the highway to return the call. The line was busy; however, she had called my cell and left a message. Gina White (american name) had a very thick accent. She had the last four digits of my social security number and said I am being investigated by some law department. I could not understand anything else she said in the message. I am so glad I waited until I got home to google this number today.

- EbonyThis number called me about 15 minutes ago saying that I committed fraud and that I had an warrant for my arrest. He needed my address so that he could send me the warrant. He stated that I had taken out a loan in 2007 in the amount of 400.00 and that I was going to jail if I didn't pay it to him today over the phone. I asked for information about the loan and the bank name. he even told me where I worked and gave me my social security number. But he got very upset when I wouldn't give him any information and hung up but not before saying have fun in jail. I am so upset about this situation so I got on google and googled the number and found this.
