This company is a TimeShare scam, that tell people they won a vacation and all they have to pay is the taxes. They are trying to lure you into a Time Share!

THIS COMPANY IS A TIME SHARE SCAM, JESUS AND ADALBERTO ARE ACTUALLY THE TIME SHARE COMPANY TRYING TO POSE AS 'FAKE' SATISFIED CUSTOMERS (Take a look: http://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-305-599-3227)! HERE IS ONE EXAMPLE OF WHAT THIS COMPANY DOES TO PEOPLE:

Name: Carlos and Jaunita Ramirez

Posted: 29 Jan 2008

Complaint: My name is Carlos, I have a wife and a 3 year old child. I was scammed by this “Magic Tours.” It began when I was listening to Radio 94.9 Mega, the Spanish radio station. They said “who ever can name the song will get a free vacation.” I called in, and got it right. They told me i was the tenth caller and i won a radio contest for 94.9 Mega (today I found out they were only a commercial on 94.9 Mega). I would get a free “vacation package” for 3 people, in  the Marriot Hotels in either Orlando, Daytona, Las Vegas, or Cancun (Cancun ended up being BS). They told me it was a $3,500 vacation which i will be getting for free, and everything will be COMPLETELY paid for and they will pay everything, and all i would have to pay is the taxes which was $400.00. Which I agreed because I never won anything in my life.

I gave them my credit card number to pay the 400$, and they told me it was non-refundable, and I agreed. I spoke to the individual for over 35 minutes. At the end of the 35 minutes the call ended by him saying, “pleasure to do business with you, hope you will enjoy your vacation” and I said “thank you so much for everything” and as I was hanging up he said “ok, just remember plane tickets are not included.” I replied “EXCUSE ME?” But it was too late and he already hung up. I called right back and a woman picked up, I told her what happened, and she said “that is correct plane tickets are not included.” And then she put me on hold for twenty minutes and then the line got disconnected, so I called back and they told me to call customer service in the morning and complain. The next few days I consistently called customer service and I was told by them, every time something different like: “leave a message,” “call this number,” “send in a fax,” etc… and I got the run around for 3 days until I finally got worn out. So I decided to just bite the bullet and go on the vacation, I live in the Florida Keys so to Orlando it is 6 hour drive. Plus they told me I would get a free pass from them to “one” Disney theme park. So this past Saturday I took my wife and my 3 year old son to Orlando, so I can take my son to Disney.

We arrived at the Marriot at Orlando on Saturday night, and when I got there there were 200 other people just like me who also were told they won something. I was confused and didn’t know what was going on. All off a sudden I realized I was duped into a “time share.” I realized that it was a scam, there was nothing paid for as they promised, except for the room. Which even, THAT, wasn’t paid for by them, because it was paid for with ‘my’ $400. So I went to the reception and pretended like I was a visitor and asked her “how much is it per room tonight” and her reply was “Throughout all of January, February, and March we are running a special 3 night package for $75 per night or a 4 night package for $50 per night. Which would total $200.” I was pissed. I was paying 100$ a night for a room which was currently 50$ a night.

The next day, Sunday, I was forced to sit at the “time share” which I was told was going to be no more than a half hour long presentation. It started at 11:00AM, I was planning on it lasting until 11:30 and then being able to arrive at Disney with my son and wife at 12:00. But I was held there and held there, at the “time share” until 4:30PM. And by 4:30 I realized considering all the traffic and everything it would have taken me an hour to arrive to Disney, and if I would arrive at Disney at 5:30, and by that time, the whole day will be lost. So I couldn’t take my kid to Disney yesterday as I promised him. So I had no choice but to take the long drive back home, because me and my wife had work the next day. I am pissed, I still have 3 more nights at the Marriot that I can use, but I don’t even care anymore. I complained to my credit card today, and they told me “vacation packages” are non-refundable. I am considering on just letting it go because it will be too much head-ache for me, and I learned for my lesson.

DON'T GIVE THIS COMPANY ANY MONEY, IRS SHOULD PUT THEM ALL IN PRISON FOR LYING THAT YOU ONLY PAY 'TAXES' WHICH IS ACTUALLY THE MONEY THEY USE TO PAY FOR YOUR ROOM AT THE HOTEL! AND THEN THEY MAKE YOU SIT DOWN AND ATTEND A TIME SHARE PRESENTATION TO FORCE YOU AND PRESSURE YOU TO BUY A TIME SHARE.

IF YOU GO THERE YOU WILL GO WITH NO PROPERTY AND COME BACK WITH A PROPERTY.

Carlos, the same thing happen to me.  It was Donna Summers, "Last Dance" in a name-that-song contest. IT'S AGAINST THE LAW TO DECEPTIVELY ADVERTISE! Complain to the Better Business Bureau, The Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, the Federal Trade Commission and the United States Postal Service.  You can do this via internet.  Just type in their names. Then just click on the make file a complain. They are preying on the latino community because most of us will just say "O.K. I learned my lesson" and just let it be. Report the incident...it makes a difference.

This should make us wonder why a 'supposed' satisfied customer would actually post up so many compliments in so many different places?

UNBELIEVABLE!  This exact thing happened to me yesterday.  I was listening to a radio station (not Spanish - 100.3 in Dallas) and I called in after a question had been asked and they told me I had won a trip to Las Vegas and that all I had to pay was $99 in taxes.  I'm leary of things like this so my gut told me not to give them any kind of credit card until I had done some investigating.  I told my best friend who is an attorney about the deal (or lack thereof)and he found out that it was indeed a scam.  However, the number they were calling me from was a "425" number.  The exact number was 425-496-1910 and I spoke with "Genoveve."  Who knows what her real name was though.  Glad I saw this blog... I told them I would call them back today with my credit card number (which I'm obviously not giving them) but instead I'll just call back and let them know that I'm fully aware of their proposed "vacation package." Thanks again.

Its a scam, I called yesterday and all of the sudden a lady picks up, you're the # ten caller, she asked me if this was my phone number, I said yes, and she told me that I qualified for a free trip too Vegas and that they will call me back, about a half hour later a man called me and asked me to name 2 singers name one that is called El Caballero de la Salsa and I forgot the other one, anyway, I answered them and then they said that I've won a trip to Santo Domingo and another to Puerto Rico because I ansred both. The man was talking fast trying to rush me, and I asked him what radio station I was calling, he said 96.3 which was wrong, anyways he kept on talking asked for my address and my age, i gave fake ones, and all of the sudden he said that I have to pay $4,000 and to give my bank acocunt info to the contract officer, I said to him no no no no nono no and hanged up. today I recived a call from Sweet Suites Central, and I asked what was that, she told me it was Sweet Suite Central and I asked again what was that, she growl and hanged up. Okay, but anyways, nothing its free in this world don't fall for any scammers tricks to make you buy something
