The voicemail is a recording saying that the warranty on my vehicle is about to expire.

I got this a few minutes ago - They said that my car warranty is expiring and I needed to renew it. When I questioned (because I JUST bought my new car a month ago and haven't even made the first payment yet) they hung up on me.

Caller ID said +305-654-1842. Recording said it was about car warranty. I wanted to know who the hell keeps calling me, so I pressed one to speak to a live rep to track down the root fo the problem.

Rep started asking what car I had. I kept asking who he was with and from what list he got my number. He said it was from my car manufacture. He finally hung up after I kept asking him to verify what list I'm on.

My cell phoen is on the Do Not Call list.

I got this call at 1200, did not answer.

Received a call from 305-654-1842 3/20/08 at 7:48PM MDT. Caller ID gave name as Lawrence Sandi.I wasn't home so anwering machine picked up BUT no message was left. I know this is South Florida because I have relatives there. At first I thought it might be one of them but thought I would check here first. So glad that I did, thank you for this site!!

I had just come back into my home and the phone was ringing.  The answering machine picked it up and there was a voice mail from a lady named Heather who said I could lower in interest rate and I had to push such and such number, and if I wanted to be removed from their list I could punch #9  I have also gotten phone calls about my warrantiy expiring on my audo and I could extend it.  When I tried to call the # that my caller ID showed ~~ it said it had been disconected.  This is a scammer!!  Let put a halt to this.

Received a call from this # on my cell - no caller id. it was a recording - i hung up. sounded like a scam to me. i called back and got a recording "We are unable to complete your call at this time. Please call again later. Message 12 - 161". Sounds like an idiotic try at convincing one that the call was not connected. It's just a recording they put on their answering machine. I agree with others - probably just trying to Phish for personal info.

Machine called me, did not identify itself, and gave me the option of talking with a insurance specialist or a marketing manager.  Press "2" for the manager and it says I was removed from the list.

They NEVER identified themselves.

I just got a call from this number. When I tried to call back it said that the number was disconnected.

I received a phone call from 1-305-654-1842.  It states your eligibility for interest rate reduction will soon be over, but, however, there is not a problem with your credit card...But it had a name that came up on caller ID  Lawrence Sandri   I think last name appears first and that is all of the space available for the name..It's from North Miami, Florida..Then it state press 2 to have your name removed..

My husband and I have both been contacted by this number.  We have totally different phone numbers.  After reading about this number that calls, somthing needs to be done so that someones identity is safe.  I put the number into google.com and noticed we are not the only ones that have been called.

keeps calling and leaves no message .. all hours of day...I am on do not call list and still keep getting these calls.

Called twice about 2 minutes apart. Left no message in voice mail.

Stop bitching folks and take action!  I got the call too and my next step is to file my complaint with the FCC at:  http://www.fcc.gov/cgb/complaints_tcpa.html

This call was like many others offering to reduce credit card debt.  It's bogus -- REPORT IT!

I received a call from this number just a few minutes ago.  I figured I'd play along with them just enough to pry some info out of them.  And yes, I'm on the DNC list.  I never got the chance to ask them about the DNC list and to inform them that they were being reported to the FTC.  :(  Called the number back after being unceremoniously hung up upon.  Disconnected.  I somehow suspect that the CallerID is being forged (trivial to do with Asterisk; whether the PSTN will actually accept it's a different matter entirely; I wouldn't be TOO surprised if it did).

Oh well, the FTC now has a complaint on file.

12:30 this afternoon I saw the call come through while I was at work.  It didn't register as someone already programmed in my phone so I didn't answer.  No voicemail either so I came to this web site to see what's up.  Scary stuff people...I can't believe this stuff happens daily and hourly.  

Whatever happened to the funny prank calls like, "Is your refrigerator running?" Receiver dumbfounded says, "Yes" and you respond, "Well then you'd better go and catch it." then hanging up because you're a 10 year old stupid girl with nothing better to do than to torment people with your lame humor.

Called to warn me that my auto warranty was due to expire.  It was a "robo-call".  Don't know who this is and I filed a complaint with the Do Not Call List.
