lower your interest rates, lady very rude when asked the name of company she was calling from.  Reported phone number to do not call registry as I am on the do not call list.

Received the call this morning, tried back and it was disconnected.  They left no message

unknown caller: 305-654-1842  whitepages.com/reverse phone reveals that the service provider is South Central Bell, North Miami

account services spoofing yet another caller id number. Dont know why the waste the time with the same people who tell them to go fly a kite

Female caller stated that my  Warrenty is up in my automobile and too wait on line to talk to a expert to tell you how to resume it. From South New Jersey

Just got a call on my cellphone from these turds.  Was claiming that my warranty was about to expire or just expired from my car.  Seeing as how my car is over a decade old, I know they're full of it.  I pressed 1 as instructed to talk to a representative and when they finally picked me up off of hold I asked for a name and callback number.  They immediately hung up on me.

This screams identity theft attempt like crazy.  Be careful!

Picked up the phone after my message was already on.  No answer to my repeated Hellos.  Have friend with the same last name so I tried to call them back, but the line was disconnected.

Same deal, recording regarding lowering my interest rates.

This company calls me constantly, and I always report them to DO NOT CALL LIST, but I'm afraid there are no consequences . . . because they still call.

When I ask if they could give me some details about their company (like its name and phone number) before I give over my credit card information, they hang up.

Just got a call from this number, thye did not leave any message. Very quite on the other end....

Probably calling on voip and spoofing.

Same here:  no one spoke when I answered, and the number was described as "disconnected" by the telco recording.

To help stop (some of) these, go to this section of the FCC website:

Click the link for "Form 1088" and fill in all the info you have.  In a week or so you'll get a letter from the FCC acknowledging your report.  (There will also be a page that looks as if they want you to fill it in and mail it back, but that's just for use if you don't report via website; ignore it.)

I don't know if the FCC looks at comment pages like this website, but they do read and take action from that Form 1088.

Just got a call from this number. www.411.com lists it as a North Miami land line. Googled the number and found this website. The caller did not leave a message. Glad I did not answer the call.

Got a call from 305-654-1842 today and also similiar calls from 407-207-0820 on 3/13/08 and 3/17/08.  All 3 calls came at exactly 1:04 PM EST.  I reported them to the FTC since I am on the do not call list

automated female voice asking about credit card information.

Automated message stating that there was a problem with my credit card account and I needed to press 1 to talk to an operator.  I don't have any credit cards.  I pressed one and the guy started asking for my CC # so they could lower my interest rate.  I asked they guy why they were calling me as I'm on the Do Not Call List.  He said that this isn't a telemarketing call as they are working for my CC company.  I told him that I don't have any credit cards so it HAS to be a telemarketing call.  He got upset with me at this point.  Wouldn't tell me the name of the company he works for and then hung up.  I tried calling back but they have a bogus recording stating the number is disconnected.  These guys should be tarred, feathered, and thrown in prison for life.
