Well they called my cell also, but I have some answer tones when you call.  I guess since its not a regular ring, they let it ring only once and thats it.  They've only called me a couple of times, Thank GOD!

called me from305-848-1247 trying to sell me something on a mastercard i asked the man to remove me from the list and hung up. less than 30 secs later he called back from 916-706-5324 and said "why did you hang up on me" i asked to speak to supervisor he said he was the sup and the only person above him was the ceo and i could not speak to him any ideas on who they r would be greatly appreciated

This number keeps calling all timer of day and night but as soon as we answer they hang up. Try to  call back only to get bussy signel

Well I see I'm not alone. About a month ago I started getting calls from this #. 1-2 a day from 4 days or so. No one ever answered so I stopped answering. No one ever leaves a message. It went away. Just recently - last week and a half I've been getting 3-4 calls daily from this #. I see by the other folks on this that they get no joy from reporting this to the "proper authorities".

I agree - it is very annoying. Anyone and I mean ANYONE who knows anything about who or what this slimeheads are please let us know. The more info the better chance we have of nailing these pricks down and getting them to stop calling us.

YEAH... I am in Los Angeles it is about 9:10pm...just got one and look the number on the Internet and located you guys....It is anything we can do about this...

I have been getting harrassing phone calls from this number too long to remember at all hours of the day and night.  If my answering machine picks up, they just hang up.  I answered finally and a man with a "hindu" accent spoke. He claimed to be from MasterCard calling about my card ending and told me my last four digits and said since I was such a good customer they have a program to offer me free gas. And wanted to "confirm" his information about my address etc.  I thought that if he were really from MasterCard he would already know this information.  A Scam in my mind...... I asked his name and who he was.  He said his name was "Alex Smith".  I said you don't sound like an Alex Smith, he said he was half hindi half white.  when I started asking him questions, he hung up.  Does anyone know how to report this or what steps to take to protect my info?  Thanks.

Filed Police report cops can't do anything

Do what I do give out the White house address and talk about sexual pleasure  works for me now they only call once a day and get mad and hang up

A few days ago I reported these pricks to the FCC. The FCC has an on-line complaint form. The calls backed off - I got one Tuesday morning around 10 and no more. None yesterday. I filed another complaint to the FCC on the one call Tuesday.
I know it sounds like a lot of work to file a complaint every time, but maybe someone up there in FCC land can and will do something if enough complaints are received.
From what some of the other folks mention, I think this is some sort of scam as I got a call 3-4 weeks ago on this whole thing about my Mastercard, free gas, etc. The person (a man) was really rude and I told him I was not interested in his scam. He hung up on me.

And yes I live up to my nickname quite often. I just got my first call this evening, and found my way to you people.

Perhaps if we put our heads together we could all come to some idea of how/why these calls are originating in the first place? Why us?

I myself am usually VERY selective in giving out any of my phone #'s and especially my home line....usually I give out my cell. The fact they only have the last 4 of the credit card tells me they could be getting these numbers off of a financial or batch-out report from any retail business. To have your name, 4 CC numbers, AND phone number....tells me its something detailed and specific. Like when you make hotel reservations or are buying something online.

If we could compare some notes along the way, we might be able to do more than just stop the Heinous Hindu Hooligan....and be able to trace the way they are actually gathering these numbers in the first place. That is the real culprit here, because if you take down just one of these numbers they move along to the next one.

I myself booked a few hotel rooms in the last couple of days, as well as the wife has done some of her typical online shopping. How about everyone else? Anything in a recent purchase you might have made that isn't a usual transaction where these scumbags could have gotten all of the pertinent info?????

I keep getting calls from this number. My friend and I ordered something online once using her card and my name and info and I keep getting called now by these people quoting her card number. I have told them I am not intrested and hung up on them reapitedly and told them I don't have a card. I just now recieved a call and decided to search the number which  is how I found this page. I hung up on the guy one time and he called back and said "That's not very Lady like!"  I said neither am I and hung up again.Now they are calling and I am getting silence when I pick up.

They called and did not say anything. I lost the call.
No words were exchanged. They got my name though becuase I was expecting a call and answered with my name.
So I looked them up on the web and found this site. Phone calls like that cost me money since I pay by the call/minute.

Same story as everyone else.  Don't know what to do about it.  I am going to put a credit watch on my credit profile.  I suggest the same to everyone.

I have been called by this # 3058481247 4 to 5 times a day and when I pick they hang up. How frustreating is this!!!!

When you call back you get a VM that says "this company is working diligently to steal your identity" wonder if the Feds or someone got a hold of them and took this over with this message or if it is actuallly still them!!!

wife has been getting these calls also. called our state a.g. is going to investigate, but warned call bank to alert them of fraud on acct. also check credit for suspicious activity.

I keep getting phone calls from this number, and over a dozen times I had asked them to take my number out of there system. To this day I still get phone calls from this number and it will not stop.  Now I just pick up and hang up on them.  It is very frustrating.

I have been recieving the same calls from the same number. Here is s twist. they only want tot talk to women. I get hung up on every time now but if my wife answers they will try to pitch her. I bet alot of these posts are coming from women. That may be something it might not....

Oh and if they ae a scam then they are probably just like the rest of the other scam artists and they search the web for these postings. So keep it up. If they get too much heat the will stop calling. But then again they will just change the number and start calling under a different number and name.
