This stinks on ice and has a very fraudulent feel to it. Moreover it seems to be preying upon the infirm and elderly.

Them: "We've been notified that someone in your household has a medical disability"

Me: "what is the name of the party yo whom you wish to speak?"

Them: We were just told that someone in your household was disabled."

Me: but you weren't told to whom you should speak?

Them: No, we were just told that someone in your household was disabled.

Me: I'm sorry, but unless you know the name of the party with which you wish to speak the conversation ends here.

Them: We were sent by one of our affiliates to help with important information.

Me: If it were so important, one would think they would have included a name.

Wanted to help me get medical equipment for my disa-ability I got the phone call just after I had got through with a phone conversation with Social Security office because I had giving birth to baby last month.

Asked if I was disabled, if I had trouble walking. That they help people like me. I asked how they got my number and they said someone was inquiring for themselves and gave them my name because I need help.

She said they help people with MS, some other well known problem, and fibromyalgia.

I told her it was a bad time, to call me back in an hour. I looked up the phone number and saw these posts.

The only organization that would have this info., beside my doctor was a occupational therapist who worked for the company evaluating me for a scooter a couple of months ago. They turned me down because of Medicare In Home rule. I highly suspect it is this company selling phone numbers. They insisted Medicare would pay for it with my docs script, but when turned down, they put a big push for me to pay out of pocket.

Oh, And she asked me my first name. I answered like a fool. But she did know the last name when she called.

I have been recieving calls from this number. There was never a message left when I didn't answer. This usually means that the call wasn't important. Thanks to sites like this I can now create a contact in my cell phone and call it, "don't answer". Thanks to the people who post similiar experiences. It makes it easier for others to answer important calls and go on with their daily business without these annoying calls. T.
