Called house phone. Hung up when they got my answering machine.

Robo-call with automated msg telling you that time is running out to lower the interest rates on your credit cards.  "APPARENTLY" they have the ability to unilaterally lower interest rates on "ANY" Visa or Mastercard branded credit card.  Rep would not tell me what the catch was and hung up on me because I was asking too many questions & I wouldn't give any personal information.

You should check on the website address.com. You can find out that this number belongs to a Tiffany Hood in Florida and it is a land line. She must be trying to earn extra money working at home for a telemarketer

Calls and hangs up when I answer.  yes, this number does not accept incoming phone calls however, after looking the number up on anywho.com and finding that the person is Tiffany J. Hood, I did search for her in Miami FL.  Low and behold, there is another phone number for her at the same address  (305)252-3324 that does have an answering machine.  Do you think that if their answering machine was full from people calling that number and leaving messages it would stop?1

I was just called by someone asking if I was a telemarketer. I had no knowledge about this. I no longer have that phone number 305 971-5167. I canceled that line back in 2008 and I never used it for business purposes. I had the line for two months. I don't know how to correct this but I am not behind all this. Any suggestions.

A RoboCall is a call that is anwered by a computer instead of a person when you pick up the receiver... these are illegal except for the government
4. What can I do if I receive a robocall that I think is illegal?
1) Call your local telephone company to file a complaint. You must give them the
name of who called and if possible the telephone number of the robocaller (it

2) Your telephone company will then tell the business that it is not following the law
