called yesterday at 9:54 am.  CID says Miami FL.  Don't know anyone there but I'm sure if I did it would have their name listed or at least I would have it in the phones phone book so I would know who they were when they called.

Just got call from t his not anyone I know

Claimed to be united States government grants department. Laughably fake name.

Got a call from this number, from somebody with an Indian accent claiming to work for a 'Microsoft affiliate'. HHewanted me to set up remote access to my computer by running 'Teamviewer.com'. When I asked for some sort of proof of his authenticity, he just kept saying 'believe me...', then he hung up.

Got a call from this number but they left no message on the voicemail.  I don't think I ever got any call from this area code "305" that wasn't some kind of scammer or debt collector looking for someone else,

He called me, and said , I have been chosen for getting a grant of $ 7,500.00 from President Obama's program of low income, who don't have criminal'record to help them to do business or go to school. And he said I need to go where is money gram business, the he will call me from there , to give me my registration number to write to my application , then I will get immediately my $7,500.00 from the Government. He said , they choose me, also, because I have paid my electric , Gas, etc..... on time. He wanted to know how my living stardard, too. I asked his name, he said : " my name is: Jack Green, I am inCalifornia. I told him to call me, Tomorrow at 3p:Eastern Time. So,to see if I will be with the$200.00.

The caller is a liar.
Everything he has said is a lie.
There is no "government program" that requires you to pay any money in advance.
If he calls again, hang up on him.

His name was Bob Smith with an indian accent.  He is form the windows computer company and had received reports that my computer is not functioning properly.  I was on the phone 3 minutes and he claimed the technician was aware of the problems we needed to fix.

Called us on 7/2/15; we were not at home.  No msg left.  Thanks to all who posted here with what their SCAM is THIS time.

We've gotten a slew of these 'fix your computer remotely' calls lately.  Other numbers they've used are:

*Notice how they like the area codes with a "0" in the middle!
** OBVIOUS FAKE #; NO SUCH Exchange as '555'; that's the FAKE number they use for TV & Movies!!!

It was the old "I'm calling from Windows and your computer has downloaded a virus" scam. As soon as I heard that I hung up! This guy spoke with what I would deem an Asian accent (possibly Chinese)

FRAUD - Claimed to be Microsoft Technical Support. Miami phone number but appeared to be calling from an Indian call center.

Caller sounded Indian, He said with broken english: "Your computer broken with virus I am microsoft here to fix your computer difficulties." I said I can't understand what your saying bro, Are you a sand n--gger or something. He said "I break your computer" then he hung up.

Indian woman who said she was affiliated with Microsoft and that they received data from my computer. Apparently my perfectly functioning computer is malfunctioning. She wanted me to go to my computer and she would tell me what to do from there. I argued with her a bit (mostly for my own entertainment) and after I told her that I wasn't near my computer she asked when she could call back. I asked her why in the world she would want to call me again when my computer was working perfectly fine. She hung up..

Just got a call and they said they were from Google stating that my email is sending unwanted emails to people, and there are complaints.

I don't know who owns the number. Don't know anyone at this number and don't want to receive calls from them.

He said I was receiving a 1k grant. Told him I wasn't interested in it. He then asked me if I thought it was a scam and I said "absolutely" he said "why" told him I didn't care and that I wasn't interested and he needs to take me off his list he sais "I am calling from Washington dc" told him I didn't care where he was calling from, so he just said "I don't give a damn about you" -------TRUE STORY FOLKS!!!

Caller with indian accent said he was calling from charter.net and my email was sending spam and such. i told him it was me, i meant to do that. he said its coming from other countries, i said yeah i know i have employees all over the world. he asked me if i ever give my password to anyone and i said yes all the time, he said really? i said yes. he said to who? i said anyone that wants it. he said you think this is a joke, i said yes i know it is, you are trying to scam me. he hung up!
