Is this a telemarketer ?

calling back yields a busy signal

I just got a call from this same number and they left a message.
The message said it Lisa from my Credit Card Company and that I could reduce my interest rate to 6%.

To me is sound like a telemarketer

Just got home & this number was on the phone....When I called back it says "this number is no longer in service "  Wow ... wth....even telemarketers in Regina Sask....Whats the world coming to ???

Just got this call, when I picked up it was the Lisa recording, telling me to press 9. So I did, a guy picks up asks how I'm doing, I said good but to take us off the call list as we're on the National Do Not Call registry..... and he hung up on me. Not a word, just hung up.

I believe these are the same guys who have been calling for a 206 area code and when you pick up it's just silence. When you call the #'s back they're never in service because they're using programs like Google Talk where it's a fake # though a web browser.

I also reported the 206 # to the complaint department with the DNC registry and they were supposed to look into it and get back to me. That was almost 2 months ago.

So basically we're all just going to have to suck it up and deal with it because it's never going to stop.

I replied to the number and got a message saying that this number is not right.

Call came in at 3:37.p m .  Claiming that (Lisa) she wanted to take about my credit card account.  I hung up.

Its a big fraud. Do not give them your informations...

They get rude when you ask a number to call them back.

If you have time you should [***] with them by telling a fake visa card number and fake informations.

I had one of them on the line for a long time discussing and after 30 minutes told him that I just wanted to have fun with him :)

Funny, I continuously get calls from this number and always hang up when I hear the recording...The last time I actually picked up and waited to speak to someone, and when I asked her how she new I had a credit card, she hung up on me!  VERY credible!

Same things for me,but i think is a scammers. for why Grc,Fbi etc don't take an action about this Cow.

I think this is a scam alright but from Bell Canada's reaction of "nothing we can do about it" I believe they may be in cahoots in order to get people to *69 these pricks and you get charged a buck a head plus tax on your next phone bill.

This number called me. It was a recording and I pressed 9 as well. Said the same thing about the DNC registry--the guy hung up. Sick of being disturbed by all these calls. My number is unlisted so where are they getting my number from???

Just got a call from this #, they hung up, I did a reverse look up and it said this number does not exist, googled the number and ended up here... this has gone on so long its almost laughable...

When you get calls tell that you get it. When they ask, "what do you get" you simply say that you understand that their attempt to earn your business won't happen due to the bad marketing. In other words. "I get it, your showing me an example of marketing that would never ever get me to spend a thin dime". Once they know there is no way you do business with them, they remove your number.

It all comes down to $$$ for these bottom feeder. They are a business that is breaking the law (a number of laws actually) and most of us don't do business with criminals. The other option is to come on to the person that is on the other end. Ask them if they are naked. Ask them, "what do you look like naked and can send me some high res pictures?" Ask the person if they are kinky and are they aware that their neighbour has hidden cameras in the home? Just be goofy and weird like that.. they will never call again. Another trick is to tell them that the conversation is being recorded since your lawyer needs the recording to obtain a warrant. The best one is this:

Tell the person who calls, "hey, just a heads up but my buddy worked for the company your working for and they never paid him for his time". He took them to small claims court and won a settlement. He can't talk about due to the settlement, but I can. You can get the name of the company via Google. If every single person that worked for them heard this, they would never be able to retain employees. They have high turnover in this industry as it is and most employees have doubts about the job so telling them this will get them worried.

silence rien du tout j ai fait étoile 69 ca va me couté 3$ pour rien car j ai appellé et pas de service au numero composé  mytere
