zack - 8 Jul 2008I'm in the same boat. I get a call from this number on my cell once or twice a day. I answered a few times, no one was ever there. I stopped answering, but am still getting calls. I live in chicago.

smithy - 1 Aug 2008we got a phone call from a middle eastern male that was cautioning us that there was a murder near our home and he worked for the FBI and was coming immediatly. we did *69 and got 307-215-1001 and only got some disconected number from Wyoming. Researched and found out that it was some chessy a** fraud just spoofing us. tomoro we will contact the FCC and file a complaint.

BC in AZ - 18 Oct 2007I answered and an individual with a heavy Eastern Indian accent said I was choosen as a ramdom family in Arizona to recieve a vacation package and rattled off several locations. I interupted her and asked how she got my phone number and she said I was on a list from a "resort" prospective. She had my full name, address so I asked her to put it in the mail. She immediatly wanted my email address to get it to me quicker; I refused and said I would only review it if it came to me in the mail.
I did attend a timeshare visit to Marriots Newport villas and wonder if they gave my info out?
I will follow up if I get the mailed offer.
It smells of scam to me at this point.

I gave my info to Star Cruise Ship Condos at a convention for more information and have never stopped hearing from them since. I told the middle eastern lady on the phone that I wanted off her list and she refused, kept going, and eventually hung up on me. I get the same line about randomly winning a vacation. OUR INFO HAS BEEN PASSED AROUND LIKE A WHORE to some huge list people...sucks.

I didn't give her time to finish her pitch. Timeshare? An attempt to get credit card info? Don't know, don't want to know. Caller ID says the call originated in Wyoming (!)

RELYmedia - 8 Nov 2007It is a Wyoming area code. The only area code in the state. We have filed 7 clames with the FCC on them. No luck at all. They still keep calling even though we are on the do not call list.

the first time they called from 1-208-792-6093 unknown name on called id
there was bad connection so they called me right back
and it was from the 307-215-1001 saying I have been randomly selected for a free sony cell phone from Fido (a local cellular) company
i ask to speak with supervisor both with just ignore my questions from http://www.junkbusters.com/script.html
finally i was placed on hold and then disconnected
both men i spoke with have east indian accents
the first time they called from 1-208-792-6093 unknown name on called id

bob - 15 Dec 2007i recieved a call at 11:25PM from this 307-215-1001 number and the line was silent....i called it back about 10 times and it said the number had been disconnected...so i googled it and this is where i ended up...they need to get their time zone figured out!!!!! haha..... morons
