307-215-1001

I just received a call from 307-215-1001 - when I answered the phone there was no response - not dead air, but no response. Only moments before I had received a call from a source that did not show a number. After punching the right numbers to get to a live person the guy claimed he was calling from some company that represents different credit cards and they were could give me a great rate. When asked how he came to have my number he said, in the very arrogant tone he used throughout the conversation, that if they had my number it meant they had sent me a letter letting me know about the lower rates. I told him I had received no letter, and further more I have received these calls on a regular basis, they are very irritating and I wanted my number taken off the list. The second call (showing the number in question)came less than 10 seconds after hanging up from the first. Coincidence?? I think not.

they keep calling...when you anwer the phone now answers but they keep calling although my telephone # is on do not call list. Thesee people are clearly flaunting that.  When the answering machine goes on they hang up. This happens every other day sometimes late at night or early morning.  When you call back # displayed on caller id it tells you that that the # is no longer in service

Got a call from the Wyoming number (Unknown Name 307-215-1001) at 3:44 pm on July 30, 2008.  We live in Southern California.  The individual who left a message on the answering machine sounded like an Asian woman.  She kept saying our last name about 3 or 4 times in a row.  There was lots of noise in the background - like people talking loudly.  She then laughed and hung up.  We are unlisted and also on the Do Not Call Registry, so it is a mystery to us how she got a hold of our home number.

They call everyday but didn't answer when I picked up...I'll report them to FCC.

Called several times and a couple of times when I answered somebody in halting english told me that they weren't selling anything but that that wanted me and my wife (im single !!!!!) to know about our choices for home contractors.....!!!!! ( I rent) even though I told her these facts she proceeded to tell me about home contractors like a robot....!!!!! and they keep calling......even tho I've registered my # several times over on the do not call registry.....personally I think the registry is a scam....and has not helped at all...coz they still call

Received call at business asking for me by name - lady heavy acccent  started talking after i said this was me and then click- no response on return call.  Caller i.d. shows this number-  After all these posts is the FCC following up on this somehow? no doubt a spoof caller id number.

received a call..left no voicemail and tried calling back but number is not in service at this time.

I just got a call from this number, too.  Left no message on my VM.  I noticed the first comment about this number was posted over a year ago, and several of you have said you will call the FCC.  Obviously notifying the FCC doesn't accomplish anything.  Any other suggestions?

same person from this number it comes up as Casper, WY this person calls every single day once at the same tiem... around 7:00 AZ time, so i answered as this was this person 3rd time callign and no one said anything, i hunged up about 10 seconds later. not much after that but its night time when it reachs 7:00 my time so it was stupid for me to answer when i'm by myself u think you leanr something from these horry movies huh =P

ok to add to my previous statement it seems this person has many different identites so i think many people are working on this at one time.

A lot of static on the line. Heavy indian accent asking for my husband. I said I couldn't hear her and she said she'd call back on anotehr line. Called the number from my cell phone and rcvd an automated message saying the number was invalid.

Female w/unknown (middle eastern, indian?)who wanted to know who was in charge of my wireless services. I asked her to repeat her request and then there was a moment of silence and then the same question. I told her I was happy with my current provider, said thank you and hung up.

This all started with my enrollment to goodlife fitness gym.  I had left the gym, but did not cancel my membership the "right way", which to them is a fee of $100, a month before cancellation.
So they sent my file to a "law firm". Casey van moorlehem law firm.
They started to tell me that I owed that gym money, and that I should send a cheque or money order in the amount of $400,  to them (law firm)
I agreed, that when I could afford to send them the money, that I would.
Now today: Friday August 8/08, I get a call from this number: 1-307-215-1001.  My mother picked up and they told her that they were the casey van moorlehem law firm, and that I should contact them at a different number, and with my case file number.
I found this to be strange.  When I looked at the number, it was different. So my head was telling me to google this number, and here I am.
They are fraudulent.  Somehow, goodlife fitness club, casey van moorlehem law firm, and this number are all connected.
My mother has also been receiving calls on her cell phone from a man in afghanistan or something, asking for some weird name.  
She has gotten that call about 4 times now.
I would like to crack their skulls.
This could be a serious and maybe even dangerous thing going on here.

What the hell should we do???

We have recieved several calls from this number. Most of the time we are at work and do not answer. Today I answered and they told me that they recieved info that I had a Visa, Mastercard, or American Express and had won a $1000 shopping spree. To get this, I needed to give them my credit card information. I told them no thanks and hung up. Has anyone reported this and has anything been done to them? How are they getting our information?

Missed a call from this number at 2pm on August 12. I have no lcue how they got my cell number.

I want this # (1-307-215-1001) to quit calling my home immediately.  I never answer it since it doesn't tell me who it is, a message is never left, it happens several times some days; however, I have tried a call back a couple of times and I get a recording that it isn't a working number.

A very slow-talking man was on the line claiming to be calling from some business listing service.  He had my business name and address from the business tax license I filed in my city.  I know it is from this list because my business name is wrong (they switched the words in my business name) so I always know if I get junk mail due to their list.  This is the first call (that I know of) off of the license filing.  Thanks a lot to the business tax office selling my home number and address.  JERKS.

We got a call from this #.  The lady had my name and was telling me about a vacation package I was eligible for.  We are on the Texas Do Not Call List and should not receive this type of call.

I got a call from this number today on my house phone and they wanted to talk to my mom, but she wasn't home. So then she asked for my dad but he wasn't home either. She said she was the girlfriend of my dad but my parents are still together and i know he wouldn't do anything like that..i figured it was a joke or wrong number but they knew my parents name..so then i tried asking her for her name and she kept refusing and would say she would call back later...weird! She also had a strong middle Eastern accent like someone mentioned earlier. We tried calling back but it was disconnected..
