- Bob| 2 repliesPrerecorded call for a "business opportunity" which is nothing but an illegal pyramid scheme called millionaire money machine. You "buy in" for $500 to $20,000. Then for everyone you get to buy in for $500-$20,000, you make money, just like you were suckered into it. However, you also have to pay for the "telemarketing" system, just like the one that called you, so you are also committing a telemarketing offense for making prerecorded calls.

- CaitThey just called. Caller ID read Laramie, WY.
I answered, heard a click, then a recorded voice from an insistent-sounding young man telling me to "Put down whatever you are doing and listen to this message. I am going to give you access to...(something or other)."
I hung up. - TonyI am on the National Do Not Call Registry, but not long enough to file a complaint. I've gotten SEVERAL of these calls in the last few days (twice today, and it's not 2:00 PM yet.) I just hung up, but I wanted to find out the company name in order to report them when my 30 days is up on the registry. You have to wait through a LONG presentation to get to a human. I admit I was not that patient.
They promise (at the beginning that I listened to) that you could make $5000 or more PER WEEK doing 5 - 10 hours of work. Sound too good to be true?
If someone has the patience to listen through to the real person, please post a company name or contact info.- Caller: Uknown SCAM

- JimI am on the "Do Not Call" registry and received this call today. I also received the exact same robocall from this number yesterday: 281-232-7117 (TX, USA). I just filed a complaint on the registry for both numbers.
- Call type: Telemarketer
- BobTony - It's a robocall, and an illegal pyramid scheme. You can file the complaint anyway!
I just got another a few minutes ago. There's no real 'company' behind this, just a bunch of people that have gotten suckered into the Millionaire Money Machine. You pay $500-$20,000 to buy in, and then you try to get other people to buy in at $500-$20,000 and you make money based on how many you sucker in. Your first sale goes to the person who suckered you (you can see how this makes a pyramid real quick). There is no product.
The people likely behind this are the telephony group you have to buy your marketing machine (they make the robocalls on your behalf). Also, the web site. Which, by the way, uses Tri-Star's intro logo, and Universal intro music as a intro into their 'promotional' video (yes, probably a big Copyright Violation).- Caller: Millionaire Marketing Machine

- John replies to Bob| 1 replyWow, you knew a lot about that! Was it your $20,000 telemarketing millionaire money machine that called me?

- Bob replies to JohnNo, but I listened to the message, found out what their web site is, videos/etc. Sometimes, you have to pick up the phone and play along, let them call you back with more info and stuff in order to find out who to report to the FTC.

- KaylaListened to whole recorded message from a "coach peters" followed by a msg from a woman who probably got sucked in. they want you to leave a msg with your name and phone number. I left a msg with my name and a nice little msg of "this is harassment and your greed will all make you burn in hell.. Have a nice day." Not once did they say what this wonderful way of making money really is not did they state a company name. This is the third time i received this call and finally listened to the whole msg in hopes of talking to a "real" person. No such luck.. So I left my nice, little heartwarming message.

- romona| 2 repliesjust received a call from the number above. Did not answer. No msg. Interesting to see an Omaha Steak advertisement at the top of this page when I accesed it...I had just browsed their site a half hr ago.
- Karen replies to romona| 1 replyThat is because by browsing a website you drop "cookies" on to your own pc or laptop which allows advertisers to know what interests you and post their own advertising to the sites you visit. I had a JC Penney ad on top when I plugged this site in to check this number and I was looking at their page earlier today.
- Which is replies to Karenyou block those cookies, widgets, etc. and only accept those that you really have to to access the site, such as the one for online banking or utility companies.
