- SbCalled, no mesg. Called old work place and harassed them. That is completely illegal. This has been reported to my lawyer who will handle the proper channels of reporting the harassment. Saw where someone said they were trying to get their brothers SSN from them. Obviously, not a legal operation.
- Dave in Hbg2 calls within 3 minutes. No message left. Adding to call block list.

- B| 2 repliesGot a call from this number spoke to a guy by the name of Thomas, he said he was an ATTORNEY with CVS advisors, asked to speak to someone I knew. When I started asking him questions about what he did and what his company was for he was getting mad. Then advised that I was with my attorney, a real bar licensed attorney, who got on the call with Thomas who then proceeded to get very irate at my attorney who then asked for his bar number and Thomas said he was not an attorney. He lied, big surprise there. So 5 minuets later he (Thomas) cussed out my attorney and hung up. Now we are going to find out what and where this company is located to proceed with complaints.

No clue who they were looking for
Tomas portrays himself as an attorney - KRGAbsolute SCAM. Report them to your local authorities if you get a call from them. Pushy, will not give you information, just stated that they were taking us to court for a bogus account (not even ours), that was delinquent with breaking a contract. They would not produce any documentation to support their argument, only acted like they were reading some legal documents that only they had. When I kept requesting them, he told me that we were already guilty & that it was our responsibility to prove otherwise. He kept pushing to come to a financial settlement of a payment arrangement on the phone right then or they would see us in court. Knowing that it was not us, I contacted company they claimed that reported the delinquency immediately, received a letter from them stating complete opposite to their accusation & non-existent claim. Had I not been fully aware, I can see where they are probably getting money out of people everyday.

- Anne| 17 repliesthe same thing happened to me. A guy name Kevin Curry said he was gonna take me to court over a debit that wasn't even mine. He even got in touch with my parents and asked them to tell me to call him back this week or things were gonna get real bad for me.... I ask for some sort of documentation and they won't give me anything. He said I have to give him $2,000 right away and or set up some payment arrangements.., I'm not that stupid, but these phone calls are harassment.,does anyone have any suggestion on what I can do? They keep calling and being very rude demanding money and they also threaten me. How did they find out the info they know on me?

- Anonymousask for somebody named DeMarco Grayson, who I don't know, and have never heard of other than from them. I have no idea who the person you're looking for even is. I express that to them, and they continue to read dial my phone number, tempting to belittle me, and rapid procession. I reported them to the Protection Agency run by the federal government. I would advise you to just not answer the phone calls, and put them on call block without even answering. I attempted to speak to an advisor, and got to run around. Frankly, I think that this is a shady business, if you can even call it a business.

- Kevin replies to Anne| 5 repliesI actually requested your email address 4 times and you refused and also refused to verify the one I had on file. If you had acted rationally and listened to me explain what was going on you probably would have had a chance to get this corrected prior to me sending it to the proper authorities! Best of luck.
- Gunnar replies to Kevin| 2 repliesNice try you sniveling SHILL! Her e-mail address is irrelevant. Her refusing to listen to your lines of BS was prudent. The fact that you obviously did not mail out the required notice of validation to her tells all. You're a fraudulent/bogus debt collector & she hardly needs any wishes of luck from the likes of you.
She should definitely be notifying the "proper authorities" about your outfit & in your line of work, in avoiding them I wish you the "Best of luck".
Skeff Ett Liv!
Gunnar - Slim replies to Gunnar| 1 replyHi Gunnar!
Somehow, methinks "Kevin" is not really the shill he could have been.
Somehow, methinks he is merely some inept person who stumbled into this thread, and wet his plants while posting the dribble ... err ... drivel.
I do not want to insult other incompetents by adding Kevin to their class.
After all, this is the Internet, where all kinds of incompetents abound. - Gunnar replies to SlimHi Slim!
Methinks you be quite correct! The class of Shills lately has been abysmal. I guess the bogus debt frauds are encountering the old "it's getting so hard to find good help these days" problem...
Live Well.
Gunnar - Kevin replies to Anne| 9 repliesThe thing that cracks me up is that one I'm not a debt collector I am an asset liability investigator. Two if I was calling about something that I didn't have a signed contract to back me up as well as admitting that the person had the services but yet somehow I'm the fraudulent one. Everybody on here feels that they are above taking care of their responsibilities. Plain and simple if you were and upstanding person who took care of their business you would never receive a call from me at all. You all are part of the 15% of America that all businesses expect unpaying deadbeats that want to blame the person who is doing their job instead of being responsible adults and living up to your obligations. But I'll accept responsibility for your short comings. Best of luck!
- Slim replies to Kevin| 5 replies>> I'm not a debt collector I am an asset liability investigator. <<
The courts have determined that ANY entity that "regularly collects debts" is indeed a "debt collector", and is subject to FDCPA rulings.
"The term "debt collector" is defined in Section 803(6) of the FDCPA as "any person who uses any instrumentality of interstate commerce or the mails in any business the principal purpose of which is the collection of any debts, or who regularly collects or attempts to collect, directly or indirectly, debts owed or due or asserted to be owed or due another . "
>> I'm the fraudulent one. <<
True.
In addition to the above, FDCPA rulings state that the debt collector MUST send a "validation notice", via US mail, within 5 days of the original call.
>> You all are part of the 15% of America that all businesses expect unpaying deadbeats <<
Oh?
Prove that ANY of us have unpaid debt!
Bottom line:
You are a shill who ignores facts. - Kevin replies to Slim| 4 repliesBut my bills are paid can you say the same!
- CWG40 replies to Kevin"Sending it to the property authorities"? What's that supposed to mean? The authorities will be contacting YOU if you don't put a stop to this nonsense.

How did you find this website and thread? I found it when I googled a phone number that was harassing me. Is that how you got here? Or did your boss tell you to google your company's phone number and see what you found? - CWG40 replies to KevinNot a debt collector, huh? You're an "asset/liability" investigator. That's similar to the double-talk representatives of many debt collection firms say when confronted. They're not debt collectors. Oh no, they part of a "mitigation" firm, or a "litigation" firm. Which is total nonsense.
You're calling yourself an "asset/liability" investigator so you won't be held (you think) to the standards of the Federal Fair Debt Collection Act. It's as simple as that.
I've confronted quite a few debt collection people and they all say basically the same thing your saying.
But the FTC and most people realize what's going on and won't be fooled. You are going to be held to the standards of the FDCP act.
No matter what you call yourself.
