Crackhead robo-call for some sort of scam home security service. Call launches as soon as you answer: "FBI reports an alarming increase in home burglary..." or something similar to that. Then they tell you how they can save us from certain doom and give you a "free" security system in exchange for them putting a small sign in your yard. Yeah. Right. Secure 'this'. Most likely a scam to obtain credit card info, hung up before end of robo-call.

Exchange is in Wyoming where I do have a friend or would not have taken call.

Scam call from Cheyenne, WY.  Same group also uses 505-919-7048 from Santa Fe, NM.
Put sign in yard for free security system.

Got it too. Ignored it.

FBI robot spam. Tell the FBI to come to my house and let me know that personally.
I'll stick my phone down their throats and dial it non stop.
How could they be calling or funding stuff thru a government furlongs.

Just received the same phone call and didn't answer.

Received a robo telemarketing call from 307-316-7499 that left a partial message on my answering machine, trying to sell me a security system. My area code is in Iowa, and I am in Iowa; robo calls are illegal in Iowa for telemarketing purposes. Any business that will call break the law in marketing their system is not the kind of place I would want installing a security system in my home.

Wow--I'm glad I dismissed this call. I never get calls like these on my cell phone, so I was totally freaked when I saw an unknown number from a 307 area code calling. I'm in the 407. It's really creepy that this phone number just randomly started dialing people yesterday and today. I'm going to warn my friends about it (:

Got the same call as others, and would encourage folks to keep track of calls - there are new TCPA regulations (in effect just as of 10/16/13) that REQUIRE express written consent to receive recorded calls and/or calls using a dialer to cell phones (which mine was).     I pressed 1 to receive a call from the company so that i could determine who it is and intend to inform them of the regulation, be asked to be placed on their DNC and will pursue further action if not complied.

Reported scamming people with fake security systems. All they want is your credit card. They called and did not leave a message. This seems to be happing all at once... This is in IL for me.

Pressing 9 just gets you called again just the same as hanging up. This is the third or fourth time they have called my work number in the last few weeks.

It was Gary Sinise. He called to review his lines from Apollo 13 and Forrest Gump. He sounds healthy.
