I just got a call from them today.  Why won't they say who the are?  They left a message, but didn't say the name...not to mention that when I called back, the greating said "Thank you for calling our office..." with no mention of who they were.  Oh, and when I entered the extension, I got nothing.  Sounds fishy to me and I plan to ignore it in the future and probably enter that number on the DNC site too.

Received a computer generated call Sunday, March 8 at 5:39PM requesting I call an 800 number. The computer message stated this is not a sales call but they had information that could be important to me. I call the number on the caller ID and select 2 for support, that option is not available so I selected number 1 and voice mail for Irene offered to leave a message. I stated to Irene's voice mail I did not owe anyone any money and I better not receive another computer generated call because federal law states this is harrasment and they would see a subpoena. By the way, private name was the listing and I believe this is against the law as well.

Been getting calls from these guys, they're credit and collections people...finally got to talk to someone there and they have removed my number.  Apparently they're doing a file update so that's why the phone calls, to find files that have the wrong numbers in them.  If you call the 1-800-864-4416 number during business hours you can talk to a live person and they can check the file numbers vs the phone number they have for it and who the file is for.  The women I spoke with was very nice about it all and (supposedly) removed my number.  Hopefully that means no more calls! :)

Received several calls requesting I call an 800 number with no explanation. They use different names all the time. I get these a couple times a week.

I have received several calls from this place.  It is an automated call instructing me to call an 800 number.  I called back once and it merely states thank you for calling and gives me a press 1 or 2 option and neither of them work.  I grow tired of seeing this number come up on my phone it happens approximately every 5 or 6 days

DNC doesn't apply if they actually have prior business with you.

Also, cell phones aren't released to telemarketers. Trust me, we've tried to find cellphone numbers to market our business to, yet only landlines are released to us.

Nope, that's not what people should think at all.  If one of these clowns calls, make them send PROOF of the debt as they are required to do.  Whenever they come on this site spewing this pay-your-bills shite they're just trying to run the scam here because the intimidation tactics aren't working well enough on the phone.

So "rob" (great fake name for a collector by the way) nice to hear from you, glad to see you working on Saturday to make that quota LOL. Gonna show your boss your little post so he'll go easier on ya out thar in Rawlins? Hehe.

I received a call from this number today and while searching to find out what it was about I found many saying it's a scam and just as many others saying it's a collection center. I went to the better business bureau and they have a pretty high rating... A to be exact. Feel free to look for yourself

I've gotten several calls from different places wanting to "collect".  I even got a call from someone wanting to talk with "the person in charge of the affairs of the late so-and-so",someone I didn't know".  Some of us get these calls NOT because we owe money but because someone else gave the wrong phone number, intentionally or not.  It's really a pain.

These people work for a collection agency and are simply trying to track down folks who owe money.  I got the same call a couple of times and finally contacted them. Call during business hours and you will get to talk with someone.  They were looking for someone with my name, but it was the wrong person and wrong number.  They simply took my number off their list. These folks are just trying to do their job.  If someone owed you $$ you would want them to pay you back.  I saw someone on this site checked them out with the BBB and the co. had an "A" rating.  I felt it was safe to contact them.  They were very polite and appreciative.

This system is still calling us, on a Saturday no less. Seems a bit messed up to leave the system calling people when no one's even in the office.

Additionally, why not hire actual people? Recordings get hung up on, and the whole "this is not a sales call" is a good way to get hung up on. Hiring a live person to make these calls both gives people jobs, as well as keeps the contact rate up.

In any case, tried calling them back, and the general voicemail box is full. If someone didn't look this company up, everyone would be calling this a scam given the circumstances.

Just saying all this as one telemarketing company to another...

Okay, this thing seems to enjoy only calling on Saturdays, and we can't even call back on Saturdays.

This is a bit messed up. I mean, we're at least in the office to answer the phone on days that we call out...

Was able to verify this. Robocalls originate from their corporate office in Rawlins WY, yet they have branches all over the country.

Strangely enough, I did get to speak with the "joey" who was in the recorded message when I called the 800-number in the recording. Same voice and everything! Gotta say that's a nice surprise compared to other robocall numbers.

She was very forward with what was going on, and told me who exactly she was trying to reach. Seems we forgot to pay a newspaper two years back, huh. I asked about the company, and she was very cooperative with my questions. I suspect she's had people call BS on her organization before.

But it's nice to have this mystery of these robocalls solved for now. Just gotta settle up and they'll be gone...I assume. :P
