Just got a call on my cell phone and they hung up when I answered. I'm on the do not call list too !!

You can make a complaint to the FTC.  If they receive enough they will go after them.  Also due to new laws as of August 2010, companies can not call you with a pre-recorded message.

Spammed by calls I do not answer and they don't leave messages.  Caller ID shows Cheyenne WY

Received 16 Aug 2011 @ 1852 MST on my cell phone.  No message left.  Classifying as "JUNK PHONE".

I got a call from this number. Until yesterday I got calls from 603-214-9021. It lasted 30 days - at least once a day but as many as 10 times a day. Same M-O as this number: no one there if you answer, no one answers if you call back, if you don't answer, they don't leave a message. This started for me when I registered on the DNC list. I'm thinking it's a spammer/solicitor and they are using the DNC list to get numbers to call and harrass because they are mad about the service so something. I'm listing a complaint against both numbers.

I received a call from this number too...I have several calls from numbers that are listed on sites like this one. What I have done is save the number under DNA so I do not inadvertently pick up when they call. They eventually give up and another number will start calling...it seems to never end.....

Huh, I just got a call from this 307-459-1840 number just a few minutes ago 2:01pm (pst) Friday August 26th, 2011.  I did an immediate Google search and discovered this thread.  I did not pay attention until the last 10 threads or so, but it seems, whoever is calling from this #, is farily recent and doesn't have anything to do with a collection agency.  Anyhoot interesting, must former VP VP Dick Cheany giving us a call.

Same here - no message, and this is a new 'junk call'. I was getting all kinds of calls from 402-952-4444 as recently as this afternoon as well - they seem to rotate who is calling to annoy you!

Just got this call and saw this thread. I am setting the fax servers to dial this number every 30 seconds for the next 10 days. :)
