Hung up on me. Asked to speak to my elderly mother who hasn't lived here in over ten years. Called at 9:40 am. I don't have caller id but I did star 69 to get the number. Called it back and it never rang, just made squealing sounds.

Called several times, left no message

called very early and woke us up.  My husband hung up as soon as caller mispronounced our name.

Called at 7:05 a.m. Didn't answer - no message left.

Asked for my husband. When I asked who the caller was he hung up on me.  Called the number. Back and it goes to fax machine

Same here. Won't be answering any more of their calls.

They caled and asked for my husband.  They hung up on me when I told him that he wasn't home.  I called back and it sounded like a fax machine.

blocked my number & also tried it, some kind of very weird fax which could also be tied into a work or home line. Scam spam telemarketer otherwise they'd (1) leave a voice mail (2) have a professional presentation recorded on their outgoing message

It's a CorCom dial up service provider number, no calls are supposed to be going out on it. The criminals that our government lets run free jack these numbers ( spoofing) and that's why when you call it back you get the signal that sounds similar to a fax machine tone set- it thinks you are a computer and expects you to converse in digital. But, you are not contacting the REAL criminals that called you. The phone companies could put a stop to this harassment but there is to much money to be made. Blocking does no good, they will just pick another number to harass you on tomorrow. Probably "Card Services", the usual anal warts that plague society....
