This number was left in the description on my bank account next to a debit of $69.95.  I want to know who done it!!  Theyre taking away from my family & I.

I had the exact same thing happen to me. When looking up 307-509-0020, it comes up Poplar Street Capital. I left several messages and no one has contacted me back. I have filed a dispute of this charge with my bank.

Has anyone recently tried to do anything through NewDay Financial, this is the only thing that I could think of that would have my info. to do this cause we looking into refinancing.

The same thing happened to me.  There was a debit for 69.95 takenout of my checking account tooday and I did not authorize it.

This just happened to me also and I don't know anyone in Wyoming. Have already contacted my bank and they are investigating already.

Also happened to me, called # and it was a google voice number, google will not give any information on who owns number without a court order, so if you want person responsible to get caught you must file police report, otherwise bank will refund your $ and theif gets $ and gets away.

We just received a charge on our bank account for $69.95 from this same number. It says a company name of North Bedfo.  How are they getting all of our bank account numbers. This is not good. Now we have to file a report with the bank and it can take up to 2 weeks to get our money back.

I have just filed a report with the sheriffs department in my county. I would strongly suggest that anyone else that has had this problem do the same thing. Yes you will probably get your money back from your bank but they still have your account number. We need to catch whoever is doing this.

Got the same bogus charge of $69.95 on the Visa, February 6th from North Bedford in WY.  Think maybe the same criminals as the "Peril Saint- UT, $69.95" last month?  I've canceled the cards, reported it to the bank, tried to call the %*#@! and got the same Google message, "not available."  Ya know, the scammers seem to have no problem setting up these fake businesses, fake phone lines, fake merchant numbers...  I think the companies allowing this to happen without proper screening should have to reimburse all the banks and individuals that are out money because of this!  I guarantee you, if the service providers have to take the hits for the criminals, they'll wake-up and start screening people before issuing accounts!

I looked up the phone number, and the service provider is the same as the other scammer, "Peril Saint - UT."  Bandwidth.com.
I contacted them last month about the previous scammer -reported it, they looked up the number, reacted as though the number was definitely one of theirs.  They put me on hold, then it went to voicemail - very suspicious I think.  I'm going to contact them again to see what happens.  Then, I'll contact the police.

called bandwith.com, they told me the # was theirs, leased to google voice. told me they could not give any info on #. said law enforcement would have to contact their legal department, they refused to connect me or give me a number to call to speak with their legal department. I am Filing complaint with BBB against Bandwith.com

Finally got  to speak with someone at Bandwidth.com, who then transferred me to NewStar who handles legal issues with the telecom industry.  Basically, GoogleVoice is who offers these services that are being misused.  The only way to get them to investigate the fraud is by getting each of our local law enforcement agencies involved (like devl suggested : )).  So, that's what I'll do.

problem is most law enforcement isnt equipped to handle this, also unless you live in wyoming its across state lines, only wyoming police or feds have jurisdiction. they wont do anything unless there are hundreds or thousands complaining. wont do anything for a few people complaining about losing $70. and banks will repay fraudulent charge so most people wont report to police. great scam, wonder how much he made? even if they caught him, would end up charging with 100 counts of theft, not even grand theft cause he only stole $70 at a time.

www.ic3.gov is a website for reporting internet crime. this was done using Google Voice, and Bandwith.com, so I filed a complaint. I would recommend everyone else do the same. it is a federal government website that works with FBI

Thanx for the info...  I'm determined to get someone to take action!  I'm sure it will turn into the "blame game" between the two companies.  So frustrating!

Same here. Filled out form on ic3 and had new bank card issued. Got money back and told bank that it was a scam so they would issue no more payments from any accounts.

Same, same. Google.com/voice? No help yet.

Yep, same stuff.  Had to go to my Credit Union and have new card issued.  The description that the bank was given was something to do with Real Estate.  Not sure how they got my card but am sure I don't want them to have my money.  Glad to hear it wasn't only me....  Not glad to hear it wasn't only me....
