Yes a hang up call. Meaning no message left.

Called and hung up.  Got a 'Name Unavailable' on the CID.

CID said Chillicothe IL. That, of course, is bullwhip. I did not answer, so they hung up, saddened.

Have received several calls on my mobile from this number -- not a clue who may be calling.  Very annoying.

Yes.  A quick search also reveals they rank very low on the Charity Navigator's accountability scale. I would avoid them like the plague.

I answered - said he was from the Salvation Army - knew my donation history, address, e-mail - didn't want me to use donation envelopes previously received, said I would receive a new one this week that indicated that I was donating because of the "phone campaign" - once I get the envelope, I'll call SA to verify.

They called on New Years Eve.  Are you kidding me?  Dirt bags of life.

What's surprising about it? There is no break for telecrooks and they care about nothing but cheating or stealing from the public. Surprise and anger them by letting your phone ring with no kind of answer.

I received a call from this # this morning, blocked it, then looked it up to see who was calling.  LD Products is where I ordered ink cart. for my printer.  So guess it was a good call.

They have called repeatedly over the last couple of weeks & it's almost always after 8:30 at night.

this is a phone call center, they use many different numbers. they call for "Charities" that are unable to go out a look for funds them selves or ones that do not want to have to work for their living.  the number will always come up with a city name hoping you will think it is a friend of yours and you will answer.

Charities that employ telemarketers are rarely, if ever, worth your consideration. It's not unusual for telemarketers to keep 90% of your donation for themselves, sometimes 100% if quotas aren't met. Some are scam outfits posing as do-gooders to get your personal information for identity theft and/or financial crime. And people who donate via phone may have good hearts, but their misinformed decisions encourage the continued proliferation of telemarketing scams on the public. Please consult www.charitynavigator.org to see just how much of your donation actually makes it to the cause advertised. And NEVER give via phone or give out financial information to ANYONE who calls you!
