Tim from Springfield, IL (area code 217) - 22 Apr 2008I received a call on my cell phone during lunch today while I was at work from the number 309-494-3302. When I answered, it was dead on the other end and did not hang up for 18 seconds. I tried dialing back that number in case the originally call had dropped, and all I got was the phone ringing (I hung up after 8 times). The "494" prefix in the 309 area code is one of the Peoria prefixes.
