Received a call from 309-585-8044 on 9/30/2013 at 3:16pm EDT. Caller ID displayed "Bloomington IL". Did not answer and no message was left.

Based on the comments posted online at other sites it appears that this is another number being used by  the "Credit Card Services" "lower your credit card rate" scam.

I have added this number to my Google Voice block list.

Got a call today Oct 1, 2013 at 12:27 pm from 309-585-8044, picked it up and they hung up, but somehow it went to my voice mail, listened to the message and heard a women's voice say sweet?  So I called back and a answering service said to leave a message for ...a recording of someone came on to say their name, but couldn't even understand the name etc. sounded like a male voice, then recording went to say mailbox is full, call back later!
So they are going to be in my blocked list!

pretty much identical to above, at 1:44 PM, their voice mail is full too.

I got a call from this number so I pressed one to speak to a representive. When she answered I asked her name and she said Sally. I asked her to pleas remove my name and number from her calling list and she said the only way I can remove it was to bark like a dog.  I then asked the name of her supervisor and she replied That she was the supervisor, then asked the name of her company and she replied F**kent. Really obnoxious woman!

Got call from this number today when I was not available.  The caller did not LM.

I was called by 309-585-8044on 10- 01 - 13  and pressed 1 to talk to a man named Marcus who was with Card Services and wanted to lower my interest rate. I asked him to stop calling ; I was on Do Not Call Registry. He said ok and hung up  SCAM!

Same as most above but didn't answer. I read somewhere that you had to renew the Do Not Call Register annually, not sure is this is true but I thought I'd be on the safe said and re-register and this is what I saw:

Received a call from this number while I was out no one left a message. CallerID shows that it's a cell phone number.

It appears to be a landline that is spoofed as a cell line. Asking to be taken off the list is pointless as they will hang up on you. If you don't recognize the number, just pick up and hang up right away. If it's someone really trying to get through, they'll call you right back.

Called @ 5:20pm, answered with "Detective Bureau", that should take care of it!

Got a call and pressed 1 to speak to a rep.  When he came on, he asked if my bill is my over $3,000.oo.   I
told him to quit calling and he said f___ you and hung up.  These are all scammers that want info from you to take your money.  Don't fall for this.

Yea, they will hang up if they think they got the law.

Got a call from this # about 12:00 noon and no msg was left.  Get a call just about every day.  I got my cell & called the #, and it said leave a msg and then said the mailbox was full and to call back later.  Sure!

This number has called me twice today.  When I call back it says the mailbox is full. They are leaving blank messages. Very irritating as I am at work and need to leave my phone on due to a relative's illness.

HERE IS THE COMPANY NAME - Address and MAIN phone number!!  FLOOD THEM WITH CALLS!!!

You do not have to re-register with the DNC list. Telephone numbers placed on the National Do Not Call Registry will remain on it permanently due to the Do-Not-Call Improvement Act of 2007, which became law in February 2008. Read more about it at http://www.ftc.gov/opa/2008/04/dncfyi.shtm.

Advertisers have no more than 30 days to honor National Do-Not-Call registrations (i.e. after you put your name on the list) and company-specific do-not-call requests. Such requests must be honored for a period of 5 years.

Don't know if calling Frontier North Inc., at (309) 827-6250 does any good, but it sure made me feel better. Maybe I'll forward all "Bank Card Srvcs" to them.

How did you connect (309)585-8044  with  (309)827-6250.
Tell us your steps you went through, because Frontier could be an innocent party. Their business does not appear to be telemarketing based.

Same as you all found. Card Member Services Bloomington IL offering lowering credit card interest rate. Clearly doing the volume numbers game and trolling for gullible responders, but not interested in any other requests/complaints. I keep a list of all scam callers and this company has been calling for over 3 years using a different number every few months to get around blocking for a while. Called me Sat at 2pm - nice.
