Called this morning... left no message... betting it is "Card Holder Services" pukes or similar.

Called this afternoon. Left no message. I don't know anyone from that area code. Likely a telemarketer or a scammer.

Yep Scammer Bait turns out it was my 5,000th final notice about a lower interest rate, left this on my machine.

Call them back you can opt out... It may not work... But you get the fuzzy warm feeling you tried...

Called today at 4:04 pm - left no message. I did not know the number so I did not answer.....SPAM

It will just make them know you have a working number....I tried that before.  Does not stop them.

Called many times. I never answer but someone is giving me my final notice each time about lowering my intetest rate  lol on what?

Fortunately I have call block function on my phone.  Next time they call it will ring once and then they get a busy signal.

I, too, no longer answer calls from numbers that I do not recognize. This particular call was identified as Consumer Services.  Who is in charge of the federal program that governs such calls?  Is he/she sleeping on the job?  Can't something be done about this?  I've lost faith in our government's ability to represent the people's interests and control such situations.

Another call - another no message left - You would think that they would give up at some point but they do not.

During the Bush administration they pushed to allow other companies to have carrier level access to the networks. Those same companies that lobbied the Republicans to open up access and take down rules that would control them are the same ones that ignore the do not call list requirements to be met by their customers....the overseas and US based companies that use these carriers know this and are sold services knowing full well this is the case.  Thank your Republican congressmen and Bush for these calls. Control was taken away from the FCC to fight this stuff.

oh my lord. If these people call me again, I will scream!!   You can't block the number, they simply call you back from a different number.  Freakin stupid [***] government lets this stuff happen. I hate them all. LOL.

I get frequent calls from this number.  I don't answer anymore!  Wish I knew how to block them...I have had many "final" notices about lowering card rates.  I wonder what "final" means to them?
